Rachael Ray's show to be put on a permanent diet?

Page Six is reporting that kitchen queen Rachael Ray's syndicated talk show isn't likely to be renewed once the show's contract is up in 2010. According to Page Six, Rachael Ray averaged 2.2 in the Nielsens during the 2007 TV season. That's down .3 points from the show's premiere at 2.5 which resulted in the show being heralded "the biggest syndicated debut since Dr. Phil". The show also reached a series low 2.0 this season. Ray insiders are crying foul, pointing out that fellow daytime talkers Live With Regis and Kelly, The Tyra Banks Show, The Martha Stewart Show and even the Mighty Oprah herself were experienced similar ratings dips-of about 15 percent.
