All My Children: Jake and the Militant Men

Here are some of the screencaps from Ricky Paull Golden's debut as All My Children's Jake Martin. Apparently things haven't been as warm and fuzzy over in Africa as we were led to believe. I'm sure it will be explained at some point just before Jamie left Pine Valley weren't we told he was going to join Jake in Africa as part of Doctors Without Borders? If so, where is Jamie? If he wasn't captured why didn't he get word to his family that something had happened to his uncle? Why didn't Doctors Without Borders contact the Martin family? It should be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm just looking forward to seeing how or if Ricky Paull Golden will be able to shake up Pine Valley. It's just a matter of time now.

What I'm wondering is, who is that guy with Jake in the third pic? Is it Adian, Josh, or could it be a new Jamie?
I think we'll see Jake in a whole different light, I think he'll be more darker.
Personally I think all of us longtime AMC veiwers should kidnap the writing team and rewrite the whole soap! JMO!

I'm excited to see Ricky on AMC! I'm not worried about the writing (maybe I should be); I'm just looking forward to seeing Ricky shine as Jake.
These pictures are great. He looks all rugged and beat up. Kinda hot.

I agree Best, baby! I hate AMC. Of all the soaps on all the networks over the years, this one has always been unwatchable to me. I will give them credit for Angie and Jessie because that was great, but it was like it happened on a totally different soap.
Here are these heartfelt moments between Angie and Jessie, and they cut away to that red ball or whatever it was... bizarre. I'm so glad I don't need to fast forward through that anymore. If people think it's worth watching RPG when he gets over there, maybe I'll watch him and fast forward through all the Ryan-Real Greenlee-junk but I doubt it.

I love my FF button. I just watch any scene with Angie & Jesse, Adam/Krystal, Frankie/Colby, Opal, and maybe Tad when he's not being an ass. I always FF through the horrible 6.

well I aleady miss him to death on GL. So I really hope they let him build this character as great as "Gus" was.
