Submitted by Jamey Giddens on August 15, 2008 - 11:21pm.

Inside sources are saying Gary Tomlin, who penned One Life to Live during the Writer's Strike of 2007-2008, is the top contender for the co-executive producer slot at Days of Our Lives. As reported earlier, Ed Scott has allegedly been fired from the co-executive slot at NBC's lone soap. More on this story as it develops.

Jamey, you are the best. You keep us up to date. I pray they take Bob Guza over there. The behind the scenes stuff can be better than the soaps.

Gary Tomlin was a writer on Another World so I am wondering why he doesn't just take over for Higley as head writer rather than Ed Scott (who is doing a bang up job).
