ITA with Tina's choice for dishonorable mention: Justis Bolding. Luke was right, the writing for her back from the dead scene didn't help things, but Bolding's performance made it even worse. It reminded me of a 1st year acting student doing her first scene study.

Bolding is cute and likeable, but she simply can't do dramatic work at this point. If OLTL is going to keep her I think it would be best to not give her any heavy drama to play.

I agree with you, Tina, but you forgot to add David Fumero and Kamar and the Medorra mess and the time travel sequence is my dishonorable mention. I sorry, but David is not a great actor and is just eye candy for the ladies, I feel bad for Andrea Evans because I wanted her to see her with Viki and Todd and Blair and Llanview and the with David Vickers. I want to give my performer of the week is Eric Braden and Melody Thomas Scott. I feel that the show is getting what is the Y&R supposed to be about. They performance is great and make feel for both characters. I think the OLTL should have recast Sarah and get someone who can play act Andrea Evans.

I have to give my performer of the week reward to the entire Dimera family. Stefano, Tony, EJ, and Anna were all great at the end of last week. They had interesting interactions and their was all raised by the powerhouse return of Joe Mascolo. I am not sure who is writing DOOL right now but the Dimera story has been super entertaining so far. I hope it stays that way.

Surprisingly Nicki didn't piss me off. I used to hate the way she used to bash Alicia leigh willis when ever Courtney was mentioned. I LOVE Sara BUT the actress needs acting lessons. Justis is really trying though.

What ever happened to Lisa. I really liked her

Yeah, I was hoping that Sarha would return wiht a new face but was damn mad Carlo let that heifer get away! God watching her sail away on that raft and her lil' speach to Cris made me want to have Cris and Tina say, "Calgon take her AWAY!"

My performer of the week is Bruce Weitz as "Anthony Zacharra" on GH. John James on ATWT and Joseph Mascolo on Days were fantastic in different ways as charming, dangerous sociopaths. But Weitz continues to dazzle as he walks a precarious tight rope between steely cold pragmatism and off the wall murderous insanity. He's the new Helena Cassadine (sorry folks, but it's true).

Honorable Mentions:

Robert S. Woods (Bo, OLTL) who grounds the craziness of the 1968 "Back to the Future" storyline with layers and layers and layers of subtext. The thing that is remarkable is that Woods is playing SEVERAL characters: Present Bo, Bo pretending to be Asa, and "being" Asa to the characters in 1968. It's another high wire act of impressive proportions.

The other is Noelle Beck as "Lily" on ATWT. I know I am sounding like a broken record when it comes to her, but Beck continues bring an interesting steeliness and edge to Lily that makes the character more exciting AND more unpredictable than ever. My love for Martha Byrne matches Martha's legions of fans (and I would LOVE for ATWT to bring Bryne to the fold as a back-from-the-dead Rose). But Beck is doing one hell of a job as the new (not "nu") Lily.

performer of the week: Melody Thomas Scott hands down. From still reaming from the reveal of David' Chow's true identity and everything he caused to her family to almost taking that drink before she threw it in the bush to helping Victoria get over her paternal guilt, MTS has shown time and time again why she is daytime's most under-rated, under-appreciated actresses of all time. Why this woman does not get more Emmy noms and has not won is beyond me but she continually shows us the emotional depth of Nikki Newman with a glance, an eye movement, a facial expression. That is all she needs. Her scene with Adam this week was also tremendous, going from anger at his pomposity at having the press conference to tremendous guilt upon learning who Sky was. She blows the set down every single time.

I have to agree that I wish they would re-cast Sarah Roberts as well. I can just taste how incredible this character could be if she were played by a gutsier, edgier actress. Justis Bolding is much too bland and vanilla to be Tina Lord's daughter and she could barely hold her own in the scenes with Tina, Natalie and Jess/Tess. I was cringing each time she spoke.

Honorable Mention: JP Lavoisssier as Rex on OLTL for his wit and sparkling humor and dimples in all of his scenes during this somewhat tedious 1968 s/l. I like the premise of the story but it tends to drag in places and I am already wishing they were home or Mimi/Delphina would get there already. I have not watched OLTL this week yet because it is my saturday show so they maybe wrapping it up as I write this.

Also - Absolutely give an "Amen" to Stefano DiMera and Anna DiMera for blowing their scenes away. Joe Mascolo has once again reinvigorated this show with a gothic sense and dark humor that does not exist when he is off the canvas. I am also very impressed with LeAnn Hunley's "Anna" for digging down and deep to come up with a fabulous supporting performance as the one female DiMera who is not lobotomized by Stefano. She is a true force and should be utilized more with a front burner s/l. Hopefuly, this will keep her on-screen more.

Tina, I agree with you. If they need someone to write for Justus Bowling and her character of Sarah/Flash, I voulenter!! I can come up with tons of ideas on how to improve Sarah. She needs to have more of an edge to her. Sarah needs a little Tina, a little Cord and a little street smarts to her. I could write it!!!!
