General Hospital: Perkie's Observations

Still no sign of Jason though. Did someone forget to let him know about Spinelli? Because that’s just silly. Oh, and Mac, while you’re at the hospital, being the eleven millionth person to talk Robin into marrying Patrick, you might want to pop by Spinelli’s room to find out the details of that pesky hit and run he was a victim of and check in on your daughter, who’s worried sick about her best friend.
Interesting that Robin mentioned Robert having chemo, yet didn’t give us more details than that. Sure, everyone watching Nightshift would know that he has cancer, but those of us who don’t would likely be confused. Oh, and Mac, while you’re at the hospital, being the eleventy millionth person to talk Robin into marrying Patrick, you might want to pop by your brother’s room and see how he’s doing.

While I appreciate when we finally have a new “day” in the land of Port Charles, I do wonder what happened to some of the stories/situations we were watching yesterday. The last we saw Sam, Jerry was all up in her grill and Lucky was listening in. Yet today, LuSam are all lovey dovey with no real mention of how Sam got rid of Mr. Smarm. The last we saw CarJax, they were having their umpteenth fight about Karpov and Jason and the mob, and Jason and Karpov and the mob. Today they’re doing the nasty, literally while Kate watches and all fighting has stopped.
I continue to love Diane and her disgust for all things Sonny!! She gets the line of the day:
Diane: “It’s bad manners to invite your ex wife to your wedding. Especially when your still having sex with her."
Sonny: “Sleeping with Carly was an accident.”
Diane: “How does that work? “Whoops, we’re naked. Anyone remember what happens next?”
Color me shocked but, not only did Jax know the truth about Kate setting up Carly, he actually got his information right and then confronted Kate. I’m not a fan of Carly’s, but that kind of served Kate right. Also did I imagine it or did Jax say that Crimson had, in fact, launched? Because if it did, it was with very little fanfare, all things considered.
Foreshadowing (and incredibly naïve!!) line of the day:
Sonny: “I don’t want Carly at our wedding.”
Kate: “How can Carly ruin our wedding? What can she possibly do?”

No Jason, CarJax doing the nasty and more Skate wedding bla bla bla.... glad to be missing it! 
As usual today's episode was nothing special.....the whole Robin and Patrick thing is tedious as usual...although i did like seeing Laney and everyone looking at Robin as if she was making a mistake....I like when there is some light-hearted comedy in the show....
The Jax and Kate thing really annoyed me for some reason...it seemed unnecessary....though I figure it's probably a plot point so that when Kate tells Jax about the limo sex, he can say that she's lying....
I also hated that whole Matt being lamed for what was wrong with Spinelli thing...it was also unnecessary....I mean I don't think it's that hard to believe that he received counterfeit anti-biotics when there have been previous instances of people getting bad drugs....
coming to think of it...watching GH on the whole is becoming quite unnecessary......
The Diane line was classic.
I loved watching Jax blast Kate. I love Kate as a character and Megan Ward is a gorgeous actress, but she's been riding that high horse for just a little bit too long and it was good to see Jax knock her down a few notches with that revelation.
The Spinelli story seems to be kind of bumpy if you ask me. With all the interest of Matt Hunter's background, wouldn't this be a perfect chance for Jason to swoop in and get the lowdown on the new doc? Maybe then people would have a reason not to completely hate the new character...or maybe they'd hate him even more.

Dr House: I agree about the Spinelli's story is a mess. Seems a strange time for SBu to be taking a vacation.

I had a problem watching Jax blast Kate. Not because I actually like Kate, but because it seems like Jax enjoys embarrassing people. He did the same thing to Carly when Kate set her up. Instead of pulling the people to the side and warning them to never do whatever they did again, why does he find the need to do it in front of others? Why does he need to belittle them? I was starting to get over my hatred for Jax, because I thought that he actually had a huge point when it came to all the little things that his wife does that he doesn't agree with. But when he acts pompous like this, I remember why I hate him.
I was also wondering why Robin didn't go into detail about Robert's case and why Mac doesn't know about his brother's condition. I can understand why Anna didn't know, since Robert told Robin not to tell her, but they didn't mention not telling Mac. So I don't get why he couldn't go visit him.
I agree about Scotty. Why would any judge grant his motion to remove Alexis and place himself on the case? If I were on the jury, I would be inclined to believe the defense when they cry foul and say that the defendant is being railroaded. How could you trust the evidence?
Bring on the tomatos but I am so glad that Jax knocked Kate down a peg or two. Carly is who Carly is, he knows that, she is also his wife who was actually telling the truth. I'm glad he stood up for her. Something I don't think Sonny ever DID in their marriage....but I did about choke when Kate ran and told him and he was on Carlys side...had to LMAO at that one. Kate is a professional businesswoman and for her to stoop down to Carly (of all people) level, well.....

Yes!! Dr. House...no tomato throwing from you..awesome! I hate to say it but I haven't liked Kate as a character in many months, she was fab when she first came on, I think it was maybe right before or right after Michael got shot...she and Sonny lost somewhere in there (for me)...I wasn't feelin' for 'em anymore. But Megan Ward is just beautiful and love her as an actress.
You know they're good when you love to hate 'em.

He hates women, so that is probably why we have Jax embarrassing these women in public (who both hate each other).
As for Mac not knowing, I don't know? Bad writing, Guza style.
As for Scott, maybe he paid the judge off? Wouldn't put it past him...why is he so into this? He denied Logan was his son forever....and now after only a few months, oh I want justice. GH is just so stupid. Once Laura is gone, I'm gonna stop watching again....if not sooner, only so much I can take.

Kate needs to cut her losses w/ Sonny. Carly is still as annoying!!!

I actually liked today.... it had balance with a bit of randomness but I can overlook that if it gives me an Anna and Mac scene. I thought the Scrubs-Anna stuff was cute. Loved Jax's smackdown on Kate. I liked that the hospital was present in two storylines, Spinelli and Scrubs. AND FINALLY, we get a Robert mention on GH. The Scotty stuff was stupid because it would never ever happen in the real world. Other than that, I enjoyed this episode.
Where's Jason? He's in South America on business.
THe wierd moment on the show was in the scene in the PCPD. Alexis and Rik were talking and Anna walked in. They both paused and looked at her. It was strange timing wise. Do either of them know Anna?
I have no doubt that Scotty has a judge in his pocket. I think that's why he made the comment to rick about bribing whatever judge he has in his pocket.
I liked seeing Jax embarrass Kate in front of Carly because he's finally showing his wife that he supports her and not Kate, but I do think he should have taken carly aside when he thought she was lying because she is his wife, if that makes any sense.
I honestly don't see anything tactful or justified about what Jax did to Kate. That wasn't supporting his wife, that was embarrassing his business partner. He has no concept of how to handle these situations and that is why I couldn't stand him all these years. I will be so glad when he learns the truth about the limo sex and I hope it happens in public. A little dose of his own medicine is what he deserves.
