Y&R: Eileen Davidson Back!

Eileen Davidson will be back on Y&R and this time its permanent. The actress was released from Y&R in 2006 and was quickly snagged by sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful as Ashley Abbott, but made the occasional visits back to Genoa City from time to time.
As fans recall, the actress' storyline stalled when Ash learned the shocking revelation that Storm Logan was the assailant in Stephanie Forrester's shooting.
This time around Davidson will have a huge storyline on Y&R and will be back onscreen Sept. 26.

Season that's the ONLY plus to this. I am not into the Ash/Victor/Nikki triangle after Nikki fell off the wagon and how bad Victor was to her before he went south of the border.
Mel, thank GOD you ain't a Ash/Vic fan! Ash just makes me wanna chuck my mouse at her! I do love Eileen's Kristen though, she'd be KILLER on DAYS now that John's badass.

Yay! This is GREAT news! And though Victor and Nikki are definitely the endgame, I hope Ashley's "huge storyline" will involve a revisiting of Victor and Ashley. There is just soooooo much history and story potential there that it cannot be ignored.

This is great news for the Abbott clan, whom they are clearly re-building. Now we just need Colleen to be recast with a strong actress and we'll have this family back on track. Except for John Abbot, whom I loved even though he was undramatic and straight-laced.
It's obvious that Ashley and Victor will rekindle their romance in Paris but I wonder if it will lead to marriage? I know that's what Ashley wants!

I loved Eileen as Kristen, Susan and Mary Moira-the other characters not so much-and would have loved her back on Days if Sally Sussman Morina or Reilly were there, because they knew how to write for her. I don't want Dena Higley, "The Diva" and/or the mailroom clerk trying write for Eileen or anyone else.
