Cloris Leechman vs. Susan Lucci?

I'm so torn. As a Susan Lucci fan I feel I need to support her on Dancing with the Stars but that darn Cloris Leachman is stealing the show and making me laugh. Needless to say I'm having a difficult time deciding who I should support.

Who are you supporting on Dancing with the Stars?

I watched the other night and found Susan Lucci to be very fragile looking. She looked like a porcelin doll that could break at any minute. She's sooo tiny it's almost scary to watch.

I find Cloris so entertaining and agree she's stealing the show with her humor. however, I'm rooting for Susan- but not necessarily to win. There are other dancers who have impressed me more, but I hope susan lasts well into the competition.

That's not even a question, Luke. Cloris is it! That old vagina is doing her thing!

Susan by a mile. I loved the Mary Tyler Moore show, and I like a crazy old broad as much as the next girl, but Cloris is WAY overoding it, and her routine is getting old fast.

Cloris Leachman is an uncensored, hilarious riot and I would not want to lose her individualistic personality that shines beyond her limited dancing skills. I am totally for keeping her on for just a few more weeks until there is no other mediocre stars left.

As for La Lucci, well what can I say? She certainly had all the glamor, elegance and class necessary while dancing the quick-step with her partner and actually possessing the skills to compete in this round of the show. Her improvement from the first night was overwhelmingly great. I almost gasped as she glided across the floor, keeping time and knowing her steps and doing them with confidence. The night before she was a nervous wreck, had no sexuality in the latin dance she did and I thought she could have been the first cut. As for her personality, well, I am not sure she has one of her own. I feel like she is always being "Erica Kane." This show naturally presents the "stars" as real people who are attempting something they have never done before and they need to be vulnerable to the camera and show more of their true selves then their regular lives may require. She did speak about the challenge of learning 2 dances and being a perfectionist, which is the kind of thing you say to a job interviewer when they ask you what your weaknesses are. During the live portion of the show, I feel like she is overly aware of the camera being on her and she will suddenly smile big and wide and put on the "Erica" look of seduction, craftiness and strength. When Carrie commented on how frail she looked (and boy, didn't she look sickly thin?), and how she expected strong "Erica Kane" to come out, La Lucci replied, "Yea? I... am... tough." It wasn't very convincing. And while she probably will improve more rapidly then Cloris, in the early stages of the show, I want contestants that make me laugh more then make me frightened of their waist size and the insecurity that is creeping through to the surface. If I have to pick between the 2, I choose Cloris to stay longer then Susan.

As for who actually has great dancing ability and talent, my weight has been thrown behind the phenomenal Toni Braxton and Alec or the edgy, cool Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer. Despite old Len's moaning and groaning about being a traditionalist and not interested in anything that advances these antiquated dances, I am impressed by them as the most contemporary couples who are taking these dances into the new millennium.

I'm very impressed with Warren Sapp! I'm also enjoying Toni Braxton and Lance Bass. This is the only season thus far, where I don't have one clear person I'm rooting for. perhaps it'll change at some point.

I like both but I don't like it when someone who is really dancing well gets voted off over a "personality". They both should go in the next two weeks.

Cloris Leachman all the way. She's 82! I'm half her age and can't do that. ROFL Besides, I root for the vets all the time. (OK...Susan's a vet too but she ain't 82 and she's not hilariously entertaining...not yet at least.)

I'm not really supporting anyone yet as I missed the whole first week!
I'll be ready by next week though and when I do decide on whom to support I don't know that it will be La Lucci.

Nothing against her but I don't support soap people just because they're soap people.

I may be in the minority here, but I actually watch the show to see dancing. With all due respect, Cloris Leachman has no business on the show. Although I am loyal to my ABC soaps, I can't watch Susan Lucci, because although she appears to be fit, she looks like her partner could snap her in two at any time. The bad part,...she dances like she expects to snap in two at any time.

Cut your losses, lose the fragile soap queen and the salty old lady and get on with the show.
