there will b no more. no ratings. bad reviews. yet still – a thrill 4 me.
I guess it doesn't pay to trash talk Barbara Walters when trying to make a comeback. As posted earlier by our own Jamey, O'Donnell's ratings for the show were a dud at just 5 million viewers for someone that was considered a ratings darling.

You think people didn't watch because she badmouthed that bitch Barbara Walters? LOL! Baba Wawa does not have a defensive fanbase who boycotted Rosie's show. People would just prefer to see Rosie doing another talk show than some silly variety hour.

People would prefer to see Rosie be funny. Which is why they didn't watch the silly variety hour.

I think this show not working had more reasons for failing than the bad talk about The View the previous week. I watched bits of it and just didn't think it was that good. I was hoping for something more of a SNL with skits, but Rosie was more just an MC for different acts. Then when the "stars" would show up they were trying to make it like it was a surprise. However it didn't come out that way because it was so clear they were reading from cue cards. There was nothing natural about the interactions.

I watched it and five minutes in I knew it was going to bite the dust. She was trying a tad bit too hard. As for the View remark it was a joke.

All I have to do is watch those Donald Trump videos and I know Rosie will never have a chance in show biz again.

She tried and she failed. She said she had a good time. Isn't that what we always tell our kids, try and if you fail it's not the end of the world. I guess we should ad unless your a celebrity and then you will get trashed for it by fans and people who don't know you. So what, variety shows are dead in the US. Anyone would have failed.

It's not even a failure if she enjoyed herself.

America finally got one thing right.
If any of those nitwits on the View were to go off on their own they'd fall flat on their faces - they should be at Barbara WaWa's knees each and everyday thanking her. Meridith was the exception - she found a good liberal gig over on the Today show. And, Elizabeth could always find a happy home over at Foxnews if and when she sees fit.

Meredith is a veteran journalist from 60 Minutes fame. Her being on The Today Show makes perfect sense, with or without a handout from the benevolent Babs.
Elisabeth, whose pre-View claim to fame was eating a mean bug on Survivor, is not qualified to be a talking head on a supposedly "fair and balanced" news channel. People kill me talking about the "liberal" media then citing Fox news as if its some media vehicle striving to present all sides! LMAO The only side Fox News represents is wealthy, white, heterosexual (well, save for the Senators who visit airport bathrooms) males.
Rupert Murdoch is a staunch conservative, fiscally at least, and Fox New promotes that ideology ad nauseum. Bill O'Relly says the most racist (I can't believe black people eat civilized in Harlem), bigoted, sexist, homophobic remarks known to man, yet people have issue with "crazy liberals."
I don't like Rosie and I don't like Bill or Elisabeth either, they are all all extremist whack jobs who don't represent most of America. Most of my Republican friends and I generally agree about most things, save for two or three large issues. But people like Rosie, Elisabeth and Bill O'Reilly try to make it seem like most Americas are polar opposites, the conservative pundits act like all liberals want free love and a Communist society, whereas the liberal extremists think all conservatives are religious, gun-crazed nuts. Both are gross exaggerations. I know plenty Republicans who are pro-choice and have no problem with gay marriage, that vote Republican because they believe in a strong military, just like I know many devoutly religious Democrats who are against gay marriage and believe abortion is wrong, but feel the Republicans are against the little guy, so they vote Democrat. People are a lot more complex than the news channels make us out to be.
