Remember when Luke reported reliable sources had Natalia Livingston possibly coming back to General Hospital in a new role? Soap Opera Digest ran, not walked to a "setside source" who dismissed the claim as coming from rumor mongers with "too much time on their hands" Funny how the same magazine went back to the network for this issue to seek confirmation on Livingston's return and was told a firm "no comment".

Well we can tell you several of our reliable sources are saying it is indeed a done deal. Livingston will be returning to the ABC soap in a new role. Lucky for Daytime Confidential readers and podcast listeners we have enough "time on our hands" to accurately break the stories you you guys wanna know about, but by all means we encourage the mags to keep wasting valuable copy space attempting to discredit us. It makes it so much more fun when people like Agnes Nixon herself prove we were right all along in the pages of Ad Age. Smooches.

I want Eden Riegel as Mac! I spoke it into existence during our podcast interview with her months ago, long before everybody else started jumping on a brutha's swag. I just can't wait for her to finish up her run on All My Army Wives Facing Twisters On Melrose Place, so she can assume the role she was born to play!

I love Natalia as Emily. She wasn't the same as Amber, but I liked her just the same. Why they killed her I will never know. It makes absolutely no sense. Much like the deaths of Alan, AJ and Justus. GH ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Even with Sarah Brown people are still referencing Carly (see today's spoilers from Regan) and she wasn't on the show for years. Many of today's viewers had never seen her as Carly. And, it's still a bit weird. NL just left us the other day. This seems like a bad idea. I would have accepted her back as Emily in a soapy it looked like she was dead but really isn't story. If they put her with Jason I think a lot of people will feel pretty sick.
I would love Natalie to be Emily again! I wish they could steal a page out of the Days play book and everyone that was recently killed was held prisoner on a island by Stefano...I mean G'ma Cassadine!

I think the difference between Sarah Brown's return and Natalia's is that in this case there will no doubt be reference to the fact that she looks exactly like Emily and her s/l will probably be based on that. And right now we don't really know for sure if she will in fact be a new character or maybe they will do a Princess Gina type s/l where it will eventually be discovered that she is Emily. God, I hope not! But it could happen.
I hope they do a "princess Gina" type of storyline with this too.

Sarah left YEARS ago. And when she came back, her former role had already been filled.
Emily has been gone for 7 months, fans are still dealing. But now she's back as a NEW character? yeah.. that sucks. I hope she turns out to be Emily.
Guza, You promised us Nikolas and Emily fans THE MOST ROMANTIC STORYLINE EVER last year, and all we got was her GRUSOME "death" and a ghost storyline.. which was also gruesome.

What GH needs to balance out the mix is true love and romance. Nikolas and Emily had that, and so much more. Jealous viewers.. suck it up already!
Soily was jail bait, NiCo was repulsive and Nikodine is a BORE! If Natty graces us, she will be great no matter what, but the legend of Nikolas and Emily will prevail.
