Predictions on how much Grant Alexsander's return will bump ratings up or down. Melodie has an update on her spoilers from December. It's not Kim Zimmer's fault that Guiding Light has gone down hill, should she have to take a pay cut during this next go around? Could GL survive without Reva if Zimmer didn't accept pay cuts and left the show?
As the Recasts Turns is systematically breaking Douglas Marland's rules on how not to wreck a soap and it's making it hard to watch so many new faces.
Who knew that all it took to have a successful fashion show was Donna in a knit bikini? Mike goes ballistic and isn't going to take it from The Bold and the Beautiful anymore. Kyle Lowder and Ronn Moss pop up on The Soup. Rick and Steffy are so cliche it hurts.
What is up with The Young and the Restless trying to put almost every boring character in one scene? Neil's wedding featured Karen and Victoria, not to mention a the character castrated JT all in one scene. Gloria discovers Katherine in jail. Jamey thinks that Maria Arena Bell has a check list of all of LML's debacles and is fixing everything one, by one by one.
Could Daniel and Chloe be the next big Days of Our Lives couple? Jamey seems to think so. Imagine if Dena Higley was writing your life ala Stranger Than Fiction?

Jamey, I with you that great writing and long-term s/l is what the fans want. I just don't think tiic cares about the industry and just wants the money and not don't care about the fans. I think that Frons and Guza is ruining GH because of crappy writing and bad characters.

I found ATWT entertaining today but I agree there are too many recasts. And Dusty needs to STFU. I found Casey & Jade interesting. Anything is better than Casey & PollyAlli.

All I have to say is 1 free hour of viewing = around 3 international soaps
lol, though I guess you fastforward ad's so that drops it down to 40 free minutes of viewing so 2 international soaps 
lol, I am really trying to decide if I should tune out with the rest of you guys, I mean the show is horrible, but a part of me feels like my viewing the show doesn't influence it one way or another so tuning out won't have a effect except to give me 40 minutes free a day lol.

Jamey, you're way off base with Dan and Chloe. Have you checked the NBC and Sony boards? Most people are disgusted by this storyline since it started with a gropefest and is just physical. They need to have Chloe reunited with Philip or do Phloe vs Broe again.

First, nobody would dare challenge Jamey's role as historian. Second, his Victor Newman impression is second to none. And, finally his thoughts on Days and the Autism Story were right on target.
One of the missed opportunities on that show is not having Lexi and Stefano talk about how despite all of his power and weird brain chip engineering, he still can't cure his own grandson. That would integrate the past with the present and in some way it would emphasize the powerlessness that those of us who have families affected by ASD really feel.
Oh, and I wish Mike would marry me too... but its still illegal in California.

My amateur psychoanalysis of Rick: Half the time he's subconsciously dating his mother (see Ashley, Taylor)alternating with trying to recreate his parents' May-December romance by dating prepubescents (see Phoebe, Steffy, that annoying daughter of Lorenzo Lamas.)
