I am going to miss Rachel Melvin on Days of Our Lives. Sure Chelsea mowed down her little brother in the street, but Melvin is a very good actress. Hopefully another soap snaps her up. Imagine her as Brook Lynn Ashton on General Hospital, Lucy Montgomery on As the World Turns, Colby Chandler on All My Children or even Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless. Oh the possibilities.
Hypothetically speaking, where would you like Melvin to end up?

Brook Lynn Ashton is a singer! Can she sing?
Just like the Sarah (OLTL) recast, once Shanelle Workman left Bolding was recast and couldn't even sing (or act for that matter)- bad suggestion!
Colleen Carlton would be a great character for the really smooth Melvin, but who cares now that they shoved this last bad acctres down our throat forever and killed off Brad but brought on Abby.
Andrea Leon roles dont go so well, i wouldn't wish her previous roles on Melvin... they are tainted!
THEREFORE LOL COLBY CHANDLER! Melvin would be smoking with any male and could go upagainst JR & Adam... but especially hold her on against David Canary!!

She'd fit perfectly into the role of Marah. If she's not a good singer Brook Lynn could come back having lost her ability to sing and they could show her struggle to deal with that. I'd like to see her version of Colleen take on Victor. She could run him over w/ her car. That'd be great!

I like Rachel Melvin ok, but NOT a Lucy recast on ATWT. That show has enough recasts right now that it knows what to do with, not to mention the lack of airtime for a lot of the Vets. Colleen on Y & R might be a good fit.
Not to mention I am still recovering from whiplash from today's ATWT episode of Casey's bday party. Sheesh, that was badly rushed.
What is going on with that show?
