Guiding Light Spoilers

Welcome to the "I'm really sorry I haven't had the time to do this because school is not a joke at the end of the semester," edition of Mel's Guiding Gossip. Since the spoilers have been on hiatus, Guiding Light has literally been on fire. It's only going to continue this week folks. A custody battle, a vacation, and a battle for true love shake things up in Springfield. Get ready for all the juicy gossip, rumors, scoops and spoilers for the week of April 20th. 

Shayne/Dinah/Edmund/Josh: Josh is doing everything in his power to keep his family safe from Edmund. Somehow Josh, with the help of Roc Hoover, has managed to hold Edmund captive in a secluded room. Edmund is chained to the wall and Josh thinks he finally has the dastardly prince under control. However, Edmund has another plan. He manages to escape and sets his sights on Shayne. 
 

Shayne, with Dinah, decides to take a trip to Bosnia. Before they leave, Shayne gets a call from his father. They speak and Shayne tells Josh where he and Dinah are going. Josh is relieved to know that they are getting out of town and away from danger. Shortly after Josh hangs up with Shayne, Jeffrey tells him that Edmund has escaped and just boarded a plane to Bosnia.

Upon arriving in Bosnia, Shayne gives Dinah the grand tour of the village where he and Lara met. They closely walk together without a care in the world, not knowing that Edmund is watching them. Later on while Shayne visits Lara's grave, Dinah runs into Sister Angelica, the nun who raised baby Henry. Sister Angelica tells her all about little Henry's mother and wants to take Dinah to meet her. They end up at Lara's grave where Shayne is grieving. The nun tells Dinah that Lara died but her baby survived. She also tells Dinah that Henry was taken away from her. Dinah is left in absolute shock. Will Dinah be able keep her newly found secret that Baby Henry is really Shayne and Lara's baby?
 

Marina/Mallet/Henry: Marina and Mallet are on edge as the Child Protective Services hearing concerning Henry approaches. Marina finds out their caseworker's name is Clarice. She goes to Clarice to try and talk her out of pursuing Henry's case. When that doesn't work, Marina threatens to plant drugs in Clarice's office in order to ensure she and Mallet keep Henry. Clarice is stunned by Marina's threat. Marina tells her there is nothing she wouldn't do to protect Henry. 
 

The Child Protective Services hearing comes and Mallet and Marina plead their case. Things work in their favor and the couple is granted full custody of Henry. Afterwards, Marina tells everyone she is leaving the force to be a full time mother. Is it just me or is Marina becoming obsessed with this baby?
 

Phillip/Alan/Rick: Alan has Phillip kidnapped and hauled off to Ravenwood. Phillip is locked inside a room at the funny farm, when Alan decides to make an appearance. Alan tells Phillip that the governor decided he needed a full scale evaluation before being released back into the world. Before the men can get into things further, Rick shows up. Rick tells Alan and the doctors at Ravenwood that Phillip is in his right mind. 

Seeing that his plan is beginning to fall apart, Alan asks the Ravenwood doctor, Dr. Mike, if he can have a few words alone with his son. The doctor gives Alan the go ahead and the plan is back on the right track. Alan has a chat with his son that doesn't end well. Alan provokes Phillip into punching him sending orderlies rushing into the room to restrain Phillip. Phillip's outburst of rage leaves the doctor no choice but to extend his stay at Ravenwood. Will Phillip find a way to free himself from Ravenwood?
 

Christina/Remy: Besides falling in love with very hot guy, it hasn't been a good few weeks for Christina. This week proves to be no different. Christina goes to Remy and tells him she lost of her physical therapy job. While talking to him about what to do next, Christina gets an idea for a job. She goes to the hospital to ask Lillian for a position. Unfortunately, there aren't any openings and Christina is back at square one. Christina begins to feel a little down and out, but she ends up holding little Colin and her spirits are lifted. She gets an idea to open a daycare center and shares her thoughts with Remy. What will Remy think of her idea?
 

Olivia/Natalia/Frank: The aftermath of the wedding takes a toll on all three of its main participants. Frank is upset that he and Natalia didn't marry, but doesn't want to rush her into anything. He confides in Buzz about Natalia's doubts of marrying him, but he believes that she wanted to go through with the ceremony. Frank still has no clue of the true reason why Natalia ditched him at the altar.                                                                                                                        

Meanwhile in Otalia land, the two ladies have a heart to heart. Olivia thinks that Natalia doesn't know what she's gotten herself into by saying those three magic words, "I love you," to her. She also thinks that if they decide to explore their feelings for one another, it will too much for them to handle. Olivia wants Natalia to think about the effect their relationship will have on her loved ones. She thinks it will be best for Natalia to walk away and marry Frank. Natalia tells Olivia she knows what she's doing and she knows what it means to tell someone "I love you". She grabs Olivia's hand and the women share a moment until Frank shows up. 

Later on, Natalia goes to the church to see Rafe one last time until he heads off for the halfway house. She is shocked to see Emma and Olivia there. She tells Rafe goodbye and asks Olivia to sit with her inside the church. Natalia assures Olivia that everything will be all right. How long will Olivia and Natalia be able to resist one another?
