Paul Anthony Stewart Returns to Guiding Light!

The Guiding Light casting news keeps on coming today. Paul Anthony Stewart is set to return to the sudser this May to reprise his role as former mobster Danny Santos according to Soap Opera Digest. No word as to what brings Danny back to Springfield yet, but it will no doubt be something interesting. The big question here is, Will Michelle and Robbie be with him?

I bet Beth ann bonner is the new Michelle and they are both coming back for the Bizzie wedding!
My question is, is Michelle longterm or short term?
I know the show is cancelled so long term is a strange pfrase although I'm still hoping it gets picked up

This is great! I do have a question about Beth Ann Bonner, over on SOD it's saying she returns in June with Cyrus?...Wth is going on? Danny returns in May? So she's obviously not cast as Michelle?

Oh man I love all the great things happening on GL! I was hoping PAS would return as Danny and I'm so glad that he is! Too bad Laura Wright (ex-Cassie) is still on GH, it'd be great having her there with the old crew!
I hope the old characters and actors keep coming on the show until it goes off CBS in September!
Springfield can have a big ol' party for the Lighthouse like Kim Zimmer said, what a way to go.

I love Paul Anthony Stewart and Manny was one of the best couples ever on GL. I hated when they left! I never understood it because of how popular they were. I'm glad they are recasting Michelle because I was never fond of Nancy St. Alban. Carmen Santos waking up from a coma would be icing on the cake!

Yep...Carmen is in a coma somewhere at Cedars! If I remember correctly, she was trying to kill Michelle for the 86th time after escaping from jail. Somehow she hit her head when Bill struggled with her for the gun.

YAY!!!!! Danny! Danny! Danny! Okay, now that it's official I can scream it from the rafters: Paul Anthony Stewart is back! The Manny fan is in me is over the moon right now! Now all they need is a Michelle who has smoking chemistry with him like Bethany Joy did. If they can manage that, I might have to book the day of their return off work to celebrate. Back in the day, Manny were very bad for my grades in high school - lol!

Jamey's comment says it all. i would do anything for Carmen to return so she can yell "Mee shell". lol. That was the whole show for months. If she woke up now she could go after Bill for "putttting herr in dat cuma for so long". Bother PAS and Saudra Santiago were both on Damages. LMAO!!!!! MEEE SHELL..... good god... that got my ever lasting nerves, but made me laugh at the same time... Paul Anthony Stewart, or as we all know him, Danny!, has a very busy summer ahead of him. He’s not only returning to Guiding Light in July, but to the stage! PAS will be starring in Sondheim’s "Marry Me A Little" at the Dorset Theatre Festival in Dorset, Vermont. (http://dorsettheatrefestival.org/)
It may be a long way from Springfield, but I’m excited to see PAS cook up new chemistry in this romantic musical. (I’ll admit, it’s no Manny!)
