MAJOR CONGRATS: Imaginary Bitches Nominated for Special Daytime Emmy!

It looks like every cloud has a silver web series. I am rescending Opposites Day to sincerely, and totally on purpose congratulate the cast and crew of my favorite 2008 series Imaginary Bitches on their very first Daytime Emmy nomination. No, seriously, IB is my favorite show, has been since the moment I saw that one guy call Eden Riegel "bat shit crazy". Opposites Day is over people. Let's move on!
"We couldn't be more thrilled," says Imaginary Bitches creator Andrew Miller. "Even Catherine and Heather are walking around with smiles on their faces!"
IB is nominated in the New Approaches in Daytime Entertainment category opposite fellow You Tube series I Met The Walrus. TAC. TV, The New York Times Magazine Screen Tests and All My Children are also nominated.
IB's nomination comes on the heels of Riegel winning the People's Voice Webby Award for her star turn in the series. Miller and IB's writing staff were also recognized by the Webby Awards with an official Best Writing honor. Earlier this year, Imaginary Bitches also took home the 2009 TV Guide Canada Soap Opera Spirit Award for Outstanding Podcast/Radio/Web Series, beating out Daytime Confidential, but we've finally forgiven them for that. Or have we? Don't eat the pancakes Miller and Riegel!

WAIT a minute... I love IB and Eden. I'm very happy for them BUT they were eligible for some sort of Emmy and NightShift wasn't? How does that make any sense?

Finally a nomination that makes sense! And what the hell was AMC nominated for in order to be in the same category as Imaginary Bitches?

AMC must have done some sort of web product or component that I wasn't aware of, because the others are all web programs. GH: Night Shift, should definitely be recognized in some form or fashion, but unfortunately it is considered a prime time series, which means it would have to compete with the likes of Mad Men.

So my questions is.....how come they couldn't put Night Shift 2 into this category...or make one up for it?

Can we just go ahead, fire Pratt and give Eden his job?

Very odd mix of nominations in this category - how did AMC end up in the same category as this
