i would care about this if i was still watching heroes. i gave it up last october when i decided it had jumped the shark one too many times. it's just *awful* now, which saddens me because i loved the show in season one.
that being said, i really think rachel melvin has superstar potential, and i'm not suprised she booked a primetime gig so quickly after leaving DAYS. good for her!

Oh wow this is great!! I love Rachel on Days and I love the show Heroes! I am not surprised Rachel got a job right away...she has such superstar potential. She is a great and very talented actress as well as just an awesome human being! I am so glad that another show saw that.
I've hoped that Rachel would return to Days at some point as I loved her paired with Shawn Christian as the couple Daniel and Chelsea. And while a part of me still hopes that she will return and Days will return back to Daniel and Chelsea (I always will be a Danseas fan), I am very very happy for Rachel! She deserves all the sucess!

This is great news! I love Rachel and I've always thought she was an amazing actress. I was so sad to see her leave Days, but I knew she would do well! She deserves this and I wish her all the success in the world!

The first half of last season's Heroes was dreadful, but the second half improved a bit. Good for Rachael for getting a prime-time role, but Heroes has too many damn useless characters as it is!
