Days of Our Lives Spoilers

So much is happening on Days of our Lives this week – Carly gets closer to Salem, but encounters an unconscious Rafe along the way; Bo and Hope talk, but I don't think Bo will like this conversation much; and Nicole is forced to reveal one more lie she told EJ about Sydney when Chad comes knocking on the door looking for "his" baby. All this and more, this week on the Preview from Denial Island (Oct 12-16).
Carly/Rafe: Carly’s plane to Salem had to make an emergency landing. Luckily for Carly, she knows an old pal in the area, and he agrees to sail her up the river (yes, really) to Salem. Along the way, they find Rafe in the water. Me wonders how an unconscious Rafe, dumped in the water by Meredith the other week, hasn’t drowned by now, but ok. Omar (Carly’s friend) and his crew fish Rafe out of the water. Rafe isn’t breathing, so Carly administers mouth-to-mouth to resuscitate him. It’s a good thing she does. Otherwise, Rafe wouldn’t be alive to save her life when one of the boat crew turns out to be an Ala-minion. It’s too much effort for Rafe, he lapses back into semi-consciousness, babbling about a baby. Will he tell Carly about Sydney?
Bo/Hope/Justin: In Salem, Victor calls Bo to the Kiriakis mansion to have a little chat. He wants to know why Kate is still walking around a free woman. Bo reads between the ranting and accuses him of being jealous of Stefano. Victor changes the subject by showing Bo the paper sporting the “Lawrence Alamein is Dead” headline. Bo says he hopes Carly is alright, prompting Victor to ask why he cares. Carly/Bo fans, there are more flashbacks coming your way. At the lodge, Hope asks Justin to meet her. She wants to send Ciara to a private school to help her get over the kidnapping and needs Justin to execute the paperwork. Justin tries to urge Hope to talk to Bo herself, but she refuses. Later, Bo and Justin meet up, and Justin urges Bo to connect with Hope – so he does. During the phone call, she tells him they’re coming home, but the kicker? They won't be living with him. What will Bo do next? And just who will Hope be living with? Justin?
EJ/Nicole/Chad/Mia: The hits just keep on coming. Kate walks up on a miserable EJ, who is reading one of Sydney’s books (the title will make you cry). She tells him he’s better off without Nicole, but he’s in no mood to hear it. Nicole returns to DiMansion with Sydney in the hopes of changing EJ’s mind about kicking them out. Alas, she’s wrong. Later, Nicole finds Mia and tells her what’s going on. Unfortunately for them, Chad overhears and figures out Nicole has his child. He confronts Mia, who admits the truth. Chad heads straight for DiMansion where he confronts EJ. After talking with Chad, EJ figures out Sydney must be Mia’s kid. Chad wants to take “his” daughter then and there, but both EJ and Nicole refuse. There’s no proof Sydney is his daughter… yet. Chad leaves DiMansion determined to get this proof. Maybe a DNA test would help him. Oh wait, there’s another problem for Nicole! What will she do to convince Chad to let it go?

Days has definatly rebounded its the only other soap besides oltl that is really kicking ass.Im enjoying everything thus far.Now only if eileen davidson would ditch y/r and return as kristen dimera

Name one soap that doesn't have a ridiculous story -- just one. Personally, I think DooL has it all over OLTL these days. Stacy, Todd/Blair/Tea, Markko's parents, Jared's impending exit and Nora's daughter and Dr. Evans have all but killed the show for me. And I don't find Kish appealing at all. But that's just me...

Ala-minion. ha, good term. DOOL has been kind of ridiculous for decades, that's one of the things I love about it. It's not rocket science but it's darn enjoyable-and Vivian isn't even back yet, so the best is yet to come.

Gosh I hate the way they are writing the Bo & Hope storyline!
I guess they really do want their fans to just throw up their hands and change the channel! 
I heard One Life to Live is really good now! If they're about to break up Bope again, maybe it's time to start watching!

Boring ever after is apparently what some, threatened by another woman, fans want. I have actually read some BOPE fans say they would rather Bo and Hope be written off rather than a triangle. Grow up. Peter, Kristian, and Crystal are working in an ageist business. Fans of the actors ought to be thrilled for them getting a story. Instead, they would rather see good talent benched rather than their fantasy about a fictional couple challenged. Sad. Really, really sad.

So very many conflicting desires for the show. Break up Bo and Hope, no keep them together. Make things more logical; no forget about reality and give us more outrageous events. Crucify Chloe; let her have her happiness. Crucify Nicole; let Sami find Rafe; let EJ know that Sydney is his child and was switched with Mia's baby; make Kate pay for her criminal acts against Chloe and Daniel; bring back John and Marlena; where is Stephanie?
You can't please all of the people all of the time. Apparently you can't please all of the viewers any of the time.
I like the emphasis DoOL places on core families, even if those families are the DiMeras and the Kiriakis rather than the Nortons and the Bradys.
I don't watch regularly because of the time slot, both afternoon and evening, but I do try to keep up with what is going on.
I'd like to see more of Stephano's machinations, more of Victor's machinations, and a good storyline for Roman. I think we have had quite enough of EJ's temper tantrums, Rafe's noisiness, and Sami's screeching.
Who is Sami the Screech going to end up with? Will her friendship with Lucas turn into love -- again? Will she step into the lion's den to claim Sydney as her own once she learns the truth? Will she Rafe make a miraculous recovery and become the head of the FBI and give Sami yet another child?
Stay tuned dear viewers to find out the answers to these questions and more as heritage characters make their return to Salem.

I just came back to Days after many a year(much like GL) and I have questions... that Mia chick... does she ever closer her mouth? Is it just me or does she continually show her top row of teeth? Just how many actors have played Philip Kiriakis? I seem to remember at least two other actors? The storylines are pretty easy to catch on to so I don't have any storyline questions at least not yet... I gotta say Alison Sweeney is great. I don't remember her too much from before but that scene at her baby's gravesite was very good. I really like EJ and my girl Carly(go CC!!!) is making her back to Salem. I have given up Y&R(that Sharon/Ashley baby switch was the final straw) and I'm liking most of what I see on DOOL.

You've got a baby switch on DOOL too. One of these days it may all come out. It has been drawn out a long time. I so don't Sami to find out that Sydney is her child with EJ. If she does that will be the screech heard round the galaxy. Sami has no trouble getting pregnant. Let her have another child with yet another man. So far she has two with Lucas and two with EJ. Let Rafe give her a child or two or three and keep her quiet.

I am loving the new Carly storyline. I stopped watching when they got rid of John and Marlena in protest but had to start watching again with the return of Crystal. I loved Bo and Carly from the very first. I love Bo and Hope too but I've always had a soft spot for Carly because of her childhood etc. and thought she couldn't have had anyone better than Bo. I didn't like it when Bo dismissed Carly last week as being nothing important. He married her for goodness sake...they were trying to have a baby together...how could that be nothing big. I honestly don't know if I want Bo and Carly or Bo and Hope but looking forward finally to something good on DOOL.
