You know maybe Phyllis deserves Nick because she's just as DUMB as he is.

Doesn't sound like I'll be missing anything. Still can't believe how much the writers have tarnished Billy and ulimately the best pairing he's ever had.

How can Nick even see what's going on with his head so far up his ass?

I wonder what Ashley has up her sleeve? I wish Tracy would come back to town I miss her already.

I could not agree with you more! I also miss Tracey. I really love the character..I always have and I truly miss her when she is not on Y and R!

They just making look Phyllis so unbelievable dumb it's really sad. I wished she would have thrown him out already - for good, taking on Victor for being responsible for Summer's condition and be finished with the Newman clan. I just can't believe that a woman would actually stay anywhere near this family after what she has been going through. Her husband cheated on her and made her miserable for months, while his father almost killed their daughter ... and she is asking him about his feelings for his ex-wife???? How can somebody write garbage like this?

And Sharon and Adam!? That's just laughable. Do these two have to get to the altar now, before the truth comes out, Nick can save the day and Ashley can get commit herself again??? This story is just bugging me right from the beginning. And it's a story where you can see every step that they are taking. And if this should make us actually feel sorry for Adam, when he develops real feelings for Sharon and is hating himself for what he did to her - sorry I'm just not buying this crap.

Mac and Billy seem to be over very soon ... which leads her to leave town? Or maybe getting another face? As for Billy and Chloe, I like them together. But it's just hard to see them as endgame, when it still really looks like she's just the runner-up for Billy. But maybe the writers can surprise me here... Would be something.

And if I could make a wish: Less Newmans please! And at least don't portray them all as self-absorbed assholes. It's getting really annoying having them always win and never admitting to have made a mistake. When I heard Nikki questioning what got into Billy and how unfair he's been, I thought I wasn't hearing right. Victor is responsible for Colleen's death and they really playing "the bad Abbotts always are out to get the Newmans"-card???? WTH???

I love anything involving Chloe and Billy! Chance and Mac are just too dull for them. Chloe harping on Sharon this week was hysterical! I just love her wit and sarcasm.

I know that i'm not stating anything ground breaking, or earth shattering, but as the weeks go by, I start to recognize these people less and less. Plot device after plot device seems to be thrown in the way of actual character development, and the stories fly by at breakneck speed. I mean one day Phyllis is putting the latest issue of the magazine to bed, the next day Billy buys it, and two days later, his scathing expose of TGVN has everyone in town in a tizzy. Huh??? Maybe by Christmas, everyone will know who Faiths actual parents are, because Faith is now married to Michael and Lauren's son, and is having a baby of her own.

The most recent Y&R episode I saw was with the Victor "send off" montage. Basically in that montage the "good" Victor was showcased, mainly of course because he was the narrator. I would like to have had some of the other memories included as well.

It does drive me crazy that Victor is still teflon. It drives me nuts seeing so many rallying to protect and defend him, even if most are the usual suspects to do so. Victor really does deserve to be maligned and reviled by all around him even if just for his recent activities. He engineers everything to his purpose all the time without regard to anyone else who may be innocent. Any really ... is Abby so protected and stupid that does not know the whole truth yet? Of course over the years if he were convicted for his crimes Bernie Madoff's sentence would seem lightweight. What Billy published in that magically produced magazine is all completely 100% true. If this were real life don't you think that the scandal rags would be all over all of these events? The whole Newman family is always embroiled in scandal and they are all such hypocrites. Why anyone would want to be married to anyone from that family is beyond me.

What I would like to see now is for Jack to be reunited with some of his kids. They are around don't forget and it could be interesting.

Okay so who does not see that Emily is Shelia? The acress who plays her is really good because she really picked up on Kimberlin Brown's wooden acting style and plays her very stiff. I mean why keep her around otherwise the patty story is pretty much dead. I love how the show is setting up Billy/Nick as the new Jack/Victor.

Thanks for the LOL reggyreg, as far as Emily being Sheila, that's the rumor, and well, on the bright side, it would give Lauren and Michael something to do besides being window dressing. I also like the thought of bringing Tawny into the show, but that's just because I heart Andrea Evans. And it would give Amber more roots in town.

No....but come on. Last time we saw her she had Phyllis's face..and shows up after finding about the Patty mess? Her story about Patty being a janitor and her talking to her at night? Totally reeks of Shelia Plot. She was Dr. Shelia Carter ...remember and she was married to James on B&B a top psych doc. Not a total stretch should could have gotten a whole new face and identity to get revenge on Paul, through Patty.

And like I said watch Stacey Haiduk play her. Her speech and tone is very much like Kimberlin Brown's protrayl of Shelia. How perfect is it that Paul is begging "sheila" to stay in town to save his nut job sister. How perfect will it be that Paul will fall in love with Shelia..finding out she who she really is after their wedding.

Sorry but it's seems kinda obvious to me.

Y&R, while still one of the best shows on TV, has serious issues with logic coming anywhere near that of the real world.

It is so not obvious to me. Either I am a total dunce, or this does not make sense. She has extensive surgery to look like Phyllis, then she has another surgery to look like Emily? It makes no sense! I still like Y and R but it is a bit of a stretch. I thought Emily's credentials were checked out by Paul? What gives?

So wait...you think someone who could have PS too look like anyone in the world, chooses Phyllis...would not do it again and this time not pick another Genoa City person?? Well all know Shelia's revenge is usually focused on the last person to screw her over, that would be Paul. What better revenge then to go after his sister? Think about it..(all of it off camera of course). She finds Patty, sets up a false ID (or who knows even killed the real Emily to take over her life..like I said she was an MD and married to a Psych doc). Granted Victor got Patty and paid for the operation, but where do you think Patty would pick up the idea to cop her doctor's face?

I'm more convinced by Stacey Haiduk's acting skills actually. She seems to be channeling Sheila Carter - pre bat shitz crazy days. Even the way she speaks. Y&R has a long history of redeaming thier crazy ladies if they are popular.....Hello Phyllis? Leanna Love?? remember her trying to poison Ashley with the Lea on her honeymoon? Why not just redeem Patty and re-introduce a long time Y&R character. Emily is there for a reason and all clues point to Shelia.

Pretty sure if Y&R were bringing Sheila back (as Ryder's mom), it would be with Kimberlin Brown in the role. Maria Bell seems intent on correcting Lynn Marie Latham's mistakes, and that Pheila mess is definitely in need of some fixing.

The whole point of Emily is that she is the original model for Patty's renovations. They aren't going to have two false faces running around played by Stacy Haiduk.

Further to my #15 above. My latest viewed episode was where Jack "confessed" all to Victor. I never do like these guys getting away with what they do get away with so Jack does need to pay for his deeds as well. But Victor drives me further into annoyance the more he returns to his natural self. Nikki said it best that day about getting over vendettas but we all know that won't happen because Y&R just loves cyclical stories. But Victor has Colleen's heart inside his miraculously healed chest so he should take that into some sort of consideration. He could go after Jack again I guess, but maybe he should let Billy go because what he has published and exposed is all fact and not litigious.

Now if Emily does turn out to be Sheila or if Sheila returns, how could that be explained without duping us yet again. Sheila was shot to death remember and we don't really need more of her. Unfortunately all your comments about Sheila are starting to make some sort of sense.

As the viewer we all know the crap Victor has pulled that should land him in jail. He has violated more sec rules than anyone could count, practiced unfair labor practices, sexual harassment, abuse of power..you name it. But it is soaps...I mean who believes Genoa City, IL can support, Jabot, Newman Enterprises and Chancellor Industries? There is some level of reality suspension that comes along with it. Y&R seems to excel at anti-heros and Rogues. There are very few good guys, Paul and JT being the two exceptions and look at them, they constantly never get the girl. Ashley is the batshitz crazy sister and she has two daughters. Tracey the too good to be true sister has to pull the plug on her only child and then give her heart over to the man who caused her death....

The show has a long history of the dark disturbed or tainted hero drawing the pure hearted woman to his side (nikki the stripper being the one exception). I mean look at Michael Badlwin. He started out being sued for sexual harassment by Christine, to him becoming her law mentor and eventually marrying Lauren (who along with Phyllis maybe the anti-heroines of the show).

As to Shelia, I know she was shot but her last words were, "you shot the wrong one." Who is to say she meant Phyllis? Remember it was supposed to be "Sugar" in the nut house. Easiest explanation, It really was Sugar who posed as Phyllis, Shelia is still alive and is treated by Emily whom she kills and takes over her life. Goes after Patty only to have her snatched up by Victor's plot. Don't you find it odd that there was not more of a reaction to the face? Granted she fills in saying she "saw my face in the papers and I knew what happened to Patty." I mean when "sheila" was shot and killed (supposedly) that would have made the papers and set Sugar free right? If they wanted to bring back Kimberlin Brown they could have at any time.

When is what Adam did to Ashley going to be revealed? Anyone have any idea how much longer this storyline is going to be played out?
