First Impressions: Louise Sorel Returns as Vivian Alamain

Loves it!

The only thing that would have made her return better was if when she rang her little bell, Ivan appeared!!! Love Auntie Viv, but she isn't really the same without Ivan.

On another note, did anyone else notice the pictures Viv was looking at? The photo of Carly and Larry looks like it was taken the day Carly killed him. They are wearing the same clothes. The clothes Carly was wearing in the photo by herself was the same clothes she had on in today's episode.

Do TBTB think we are not sharp enough to notice things like this? I remember eons ago during the Cruise of Deception s/l when they were stranded on the island Hope one day had a french manicure the next she had red nail polish. I didn't know there were nail salons on the island...

Hope wasn't Greta until moments before the cage exploded. When Ernesto disappeared in a puff of smoke and re-appeared in the cage, he swapped Hope with Greta.

I tuned in for Vivian's cameo appearance. According to the day ahead, it won't be followed up on Monday. I will continue to read the day-ahead until I find out when they will be showing buried alive flashbacks, and then I will tune in that day.

Deliciously Evil was the first thought that popped into my head, when she spoke her line of dialogue at the end of the episode, about dealing with Carly... personally. I can not wait to see CC go to head to head with her on screen. Those two are the only reason I came back to Days.

I loved to watch Vivian when she was on Days shes a great actress

I looooove Vivian. She looks fantastic. If I remember, she gave birth to Philip after switching Kate's embryos, and was after Victor. I'd love to see the Viv/Vic relationship rekindled.

Vivian is the only reason I'm still watching this show. I'm sooooooo tired of the baby switch storyline. Maybe it'll be done by December. Arianne Zucker will be on maternity leave, I guess. The show would be a lot better if they didn't have the lame teenager storyline. Will needs some acting lessons, big time! Mia is improving though. It kind of irks me that they do this with Carly and now Vivian. We have to wait for them to start up an exciting storyline with them because of the crappy, drug-out storylines they have now. Bring on crazy Vivian vs. Carly!

I'd love to see Laura Horton return (with Bill!), and the two of them could go after Kate.

Vivian's return was epic! tearing up Carly's photo, was awesome. I'm also loving that hat!

I will say this every time i see Carly and Vivian Jim E Reilly.He wrote these characthers beautifully the writing right now is great.Seeing viv today was like seeing an old friend.Im so thrilled she's back on daytime i cant wait for the Vivian/Kte fight to begin.

I can't figure out why they ended the episode with the Rafe/Arianna scene instead of that awesome Vivian reveal. I hope the writers realize how popular Vivian is and give LS a decent amount of screen time.

It will be interesting to see how the new sidekick pans out. Ivan is a mighty tough act to follow.

I want to know why they didn't ask Ivan G'Vera to return.

I Loved Vivian's first scene and tearing up Carly's picture was classic soap. I can't wait until she gets to Salem but we all know it will take at least a month thats how the story goes with Days. But when she finally gets to town all hell will break lose. Thank goodness Days had the good sense to bring Carly and the gang back. Bo and Hope are boring and need someone to spice it up with. Lets be honest no one cares about the Ciara kiddnapping story thats not going to bring the ratings. Bo and Carly vs Vivian most certainly will. We all remember the buried alive story and the ratings bonanza that was and if anyone can do it again its Crystal.

Vivian definitely needs Ivan back. She couldn't have sent Ivan to look for Carly as Carly might recognize him, but she could keep Ivan close by.
And where is Nico? - Victor's right hand. He adds some much needed testosterone to DAYS.
I'd love to see Victor Webster back as Nicholas, though is close in age to Crystal.
It would be quite interesting if Nicholas hooked up with Hope while Carly and Bo were getting close.
And when is Judi Evans returning to reunite of the top 5 supercouples in DAYS history?

I haven't finished watching Days' Friday episode, but I really enjoyed seeing Vivian. Hope they keep up with a good storyline for her!

I don't have any faith in Dena Hackley's "writing". She is no Jim Reilly. She lacks the talent to pull off a story as dynamic as Buried Alive. Instead of bringing back or writing off old characters, Days should find itself someone who can actually write.

I LOVED it! The minute I saw Vivian's face, I just smiled in happiness! So happy to see her on Days again! It felt like classic soap to see parts of her throughout the episode and then see the reveal at the end and how she said she wanted to take care of Carly! She sounds so sinister and I LOVE it! I agree that they should have ended the episode on her rather than jump back to Rafe. Vivian is the better cliffhanger to end the week! Can't wait for Vivian to step foot in Salem and then wreak havoc!
