DC #481: ABC Waiting for Election Results

Good Podcast. I happen to agree with a lot of it, but I do have to disagree about Beth Ann Bonner. I have always enjoyed her, and I was so glad to see her again on TV.

AMC however is really tough to stay with. Pratt CARRUTHERS(people never blame her, but I think she does more harm than anyone realizes) and Frons are really going out of their way to destroy characters of the actors who will be leaving soon. I'm sure that for Thorsten Kaye(Zach), Aidan Turner(Aiden), and Crishell Stause(Amanda), it's all just a paycheck now...a dayjob, because I can't see how any actor would be proud of this whoranus material.

One Life to Live has been brilliant to say the least. I am enjoying Mitch, but I do think it is not playing out as good as it could. I loved the creepiness of it all. Roscoe Born plays a good douchebag.

The big reveal that Mitch was back, and that he was Rex dad was a bit underwhelming. Rex has become so watered down. I guess it's because Schuyler is the OLD Rex...I think this is why I love Schuyler. My question is, do they even need Rex in Llanview now?

I also have to agree with Jamey that OLTL knows how to write for Black people. I just hope they don't decide to recast Destiny with some mullato chick or some frizzy haired mixed race muppet just to make a love triangle with Matthew and Dani(the shampoo model).

In Farah Fath's defense, she was in an accident, and her hair was burned. She had to come up with something quick. Too bad they chose Japanimation as the model for her hair. Super Saiyan Gigi.

The thing about Bo and Nora (BORA), is that they have no heat. They are a bit too old and geriatric looking now to generate any kind of heat. When I see Robert Woods I think of laxatives, and when I look at Hillary B Smith, I think of Smart Ones frozen dinners. They need to jazz them up a bit if they want them to have heat.

Sadly, I have a feeling that after the Nora/Bo/Clint thing comes to a head, Jerry Verdorn may be let go, and Clint will be written out.

Okay. I have a little something to say about the Starr thing. She has not lost her spunk. She jsut uses it differently. Besides, she's growning up, and is a mother now, and I like this Starr here. She always there for her friends and family, not just herself.

I am loving OLTL, but agree about Viki and Dorian. I could see them together at least 4 days a week.

I loved Bo and Nora 15 years ago, and I still love them now.

One Life can create stories for all their characters, and interweave them better then any other soap. I love the London and Napa Valley stories.

I hope Mitch is back to take revenge on Viki and Dorian too. I want to see him back for a very long run.

It is refreshing to hear someone else finds the "romance" of Bo and Nora as uninteresting as I do. I do not see any chemistry.

I hope with Mitch returning that Viki and Dorian are the ones to bring him down, not John.

As always, great podcast guys. Great to hear from a newbie, Johnathon. I agree with you on all counts, guys.

I have just started listening to the podcasts, I love them. Jamey, you are hilarious LOL! Not sure how I feel about the new guy...his opinions didn't seem sincere.

I disagree with what he said about Beth Ann Bonner on AMC! I thought her character, Kat, was great!

And on GH, I thought it was a great week. Just wish it wasnt Michael who killed Claudia! =\.

Love OLTL, AMC is bad, for bad for half of the cast, GH is getting better, and I wish that Michael wasn't the one to kill Claudia, but Jason should of did the job.

Who's that guy you just added to the podcast, Jonathan or something like that...he is a great addition to the show ;0)

I actually thought OLTL had added another gay couple, what with Schulyer and that guy hanging all over her, but now I know its just Farah LOL. Someone said she had some sort of accident and her hair was burned - fine that gives her one day or two days max. Thats what hair pieces and hats are for LOL!!!

I totally agree with Johnathon about not loving the fact that Michael killed Claudia. They've been trying to make him a killer for years (killing AJ - and then undoing that, shooting Kate.) Did they forget how unpopular those decisions were? Did it occur to them that people don't want Michael to be a killer (at least not yet lol)? Also, I think that while the scenes were very dramatic, ultimately it was a let down. Almost anti-climactic. If there was ever a situation that was the perfect set up for a *good* Who Done It Murder Mystery, this was it. Claudia's exit should have been HUGE, but my reaction was more like, "That's it?" I get the feeling TPTB just wanted to wrap it up quickly in order to move on to the Franco story set up.
