DC #510: ABC Orgasmatron

 Hi.  I just wanted to mention that GH missed an even bigger opportunity than you realize with a Monica/Liz interaction.  Before Monica was sleeping around on Alan, she was married to Jeff Webber and having a hot and heavy affair with Jeff's brother Rick.  When Jeff found out about it he tried to kill himself -- it would have been a great nod to history and gift for long time fans to have Monica bond with Liz over this.

I am just happy to see Regan on the podcast, again nothing against Jillian she is a bit vocal about her thoughts, which is good but hurts the ears at times.  Thankful you all do the podcast, I listen while at work and it does not interupt the job.  Look forward to a lot more with the DC team.

Marty is not going anywhere, not unless you want to see Cole going nuts.

Especially since Jeff is Elizabeth's father. I would also love it if Steven Lars would have a conversation with Monica about his mom Heather & grandmother, Alice Grant, & what happened to them. Those 2 were nuttier than a fruit cake. Heather was always fun to watch. 

OLTL - This whole Mitch storyline is just gone WAY over the top for me.  I think it brings the show down.  I don't like this Dorian and Charlie thing.  It's seems stupid and Dorian looks like a fool.  She is reminding me so much of Gloria on Y&R and that's not a good thing. 

Marty is definitely a drip!  I did see some old youtube clips of her from the 90s and it's like it's two different characters now.

I was so hoping Kim/Clint sealed the deal!  I do foresee a custody battle between Kim/Clint vs. Kish for the baby.  That could be a really good storyline.

GH - after hearing so much buzz I about the show I finally watched last week's epsiodes.  Wow good stuff!  Let's hope it continues to grab my attention.

Everyone's been raving about Jonathan Jackson's performance and talking Emmy, but isn't it a bit premature? He can't submit anything of his recent work for Emmy consideration until next year, right? Only stuff he did during 2009 is eligible for the upcoming Emmy presentation.

I haven't listen to this because I'm at work, but did read this article. I really don't understand why people keep saying this is out of character for Liz. It seems that it is exactly the same kind of stuff she's been doing for years. *shrugs*

Marcy Rylan is a decent actor, but she is soooooo ANNNOOOYYYING!!!! I will stop watching if she is hired as Colby.

Great podcast. OLTL is even more of an awful mess this week. When I'm looking at my watch waiting for GH to start, there's a major problem. Almost this entire sweeps month looks awful for OLTL. Kelly returning is about the only thing I'm looking forward to.

Oh hell No to the David/Marty idea.  That is revolting even in jest.  She would suck all the fun right out of dear David.  Marty just needs to go.  I'm hoping she is Mitch's suprise murder victim before he is killed this time around. 

And as much as I want to see my Jolie again, I may be willing to sacrifice them for Jamey's GH crossover idea.  But only if I got Liason out of the deal, which I don't think would happen. 

And if you took Sam out of the equation for Orgasimtron, the John McBain/Jason Morgan hook up is something right out of my fantasies.

Luke , jamey and Regan great podcast  it`s also great hearing  you again  Regan nice  having  you back  ,AMC need to  pick  want  direction  they want  to write Coby in  and  just  write that direction  and find  a stronger actress to.ONE LIFE TO LIVE `S   Jessica needs a job and an better storyline maybe she could start an  online talk show or a podcast  or even a web soap anything would be better..

Okay Jamey, no, it is not in character for Liz to carry on an affair and snark to the guy she's screwing.  It IS in character, however, for her to carry on an affair, get pregnant, show ultrasounds to the babydaddy and telling said babydaddy to pretend like the kid belongs to another man, marry the other man while staring at the babydaddy, and rubbing her belly while watching the babydaddy in the middle of the entire town.  Maybe the snark is out of character (even though I think snarkface is one of her two facial expressions), but the subterfuge sure the hell isn't.  

At the end it was so funny I love Jamey's future soapnet promo for John and Sam it was hilarious. I love Luke and Regan's contributions to the parody promo. I love you guys and Jamey you was so true about not liking watching about herpes cream.

Beth, if all those dishonest qualities about Liz bother you so much, how are you a Sam fan? I don't remember Liz killing one of her cons when he caught her red handed. I don't remember Liz hiring people to terrorize a mother and her kids, all because a guy dumped her. I don't remember Liz standing by and watching an innocent baby be kidnapped by a deranged woman. I don't remember Liz screwing her own mother's husband on the floor, and—wait for it—lying about it. The whole "Liz is a liar" thing coming from Sam fans always brings quite the ironic chuckle!

Why can't they finally do a DNA test and realize that Alexis is not Sam's mother so Sam goes to Laneview in search of her mother. She runs into McBain and they start a hot and heavy affair while she and Natalie are at each other's throats.

Since Frons think KeMo is the greatest thing since low ratings, he should move her to OLTL to help bring the ratings up.

P.S Just because Nik had the same rare blood type as Sam means nothing. He also has the same rare blood type as Lulu.

I would pay to see GH:Orgasmatron. Mr. Frons, contact DC right now! Seriously, I liked Kelly M. and Michael E. as Livvy and Caleb on Port Charles and a crossover would invigorate both shows. And she needs to get away from the mob--stealing evidence today from the PCPD for Sonny? SERIOUSLY? OLTL needs to get this Mitch Lawrence sweeps week stuff out of its system soon. It's used to be the first soap I watched when I got home--now I've been taping Days instead.

GH has been good lately, I would love for John to come to Port Charles and ME and KeMo had great chemistry together when they were on PC, that is a great idea.

LUKE -  Just want to correct a point in your GH "history" lesson.

Deke was Sonny's step-father and a cop and also an abuser.  He beat both Sonny and his mother as well as locked Sonny in a closet as a boy.  That's why Sonny is claustrophobic and hates cops.  And that's why Sonny killed him and joined the mob.  And yes, he's Catholic.

OLTL-it's been boring me too, and I HATE admitting that. As soon as I read the spoilers for Feb. sweeps about Jessica being kidnapped, my first thought was "not again!" Here's a gifi idea for her for next Christmas: self defense classes!  I'm sure the Charlie/Dorian scenes are out of necessity b/c of Erica Slezak's surgery, but it's not doing either character any favors. If I were Robin Strasser I'd be raising holy hell at the studio tomorrow morning b/c the lighting in today's (2/3) episode was HORRIBLE! I realize they were supposed to be in a dark car going up a mountain, but the lighting made her look about 100 years old.  OLTL is usually so great with lighting, too.  I think part of the problem w/ OLTL is that there's no one to root for, right now. Rex is a doofus. Bo has been stripped of his power. Every character has been given a lobotomy so that Evil Spencer, er, Mitch can have the upper hand.  BTDT.

AMC-it was SLIGHTLY improving for a nanosecond until Ryan and Erica did the nasty. Even my friend, who's not an AMC watcher was in the break room at work w/ the TV on and asked, "Is that ERICA w/ RYAN???" WTH???"  Exactly.  Colby version 4.0 or whatever isn't working, either. Send the character off to college. In Paris. Offscreen.  I'm waiting for Brooke to come back and kick butt.

GH- There's something wrong w/ the ABC picture when I'm bored through OLTL (my usual fave) and can't wait to watch GH.  I'm LOVING it these past 2 weeks. Although if Sonny gets away with his crimes YET AGAIN, I will be quitting watching the show, YET AGAIN.  Todd on OLTL and Erica on AMC have both served time in jail, albeit briefly. So why not St. Sonny of the Corinthos?

Orgasmatron: The Series, where do I send request letters? I'd SO love to see that, especially if it meant we'd get John McPain out of Llanview and we could potentially have Liason back on GH!  As for the Herpes commercial, Blair Cramer is your spokeswoman: "I've slept with all the heterosexual males in Llanview and I don't have Herpes. This stuff REALLY works!".

Whoa, whoa, whoa, back up the truck.  Who says I am a Sam fan?  I  could care less about Sam, Jason, and I would care less about Liz if everyone would stop lifting her up as some paragon of virtue.  I find the Jizam wars possibly the most tedious and tiring thing on the internet.  Actually, I'm an Emily fan (and you see where that got me)!  Don't automatically assume that all people that criticize Liz are Sam fans. 

I agree, Sam's done more than her fair share of whoring and lying too.  But why is Liz to be held up as any better than Sam just because you prefer one over the other?  And if your automatic defense is "Sam did bad things too," then how is that helping Liz's case?  We could go back and forth about who did what to whom.  Truth be told, no one is immune to stupid, whorish, or immoral things on a soap opera.  But there are characters who own their ish, and there characters that don't.  And I prefer the former.

Frankly, Liz could go on a Port Charles gang bang and get knocked up twenty more times as far as I'm concerned.  I just get tired of the same old "Liz would NEVER do these things!" argument.  She WOULD, and she's proven that more than a few times over the course of her run on the show.  If the show would simply let her own her shit, rather than play the Madonna constantly, maybe I could learn to like her more.

I used to be a Rylee fan and there still are a *few* out there. But right now I'm loving Greenlee/David. Rylee just doesn't dot it for me right now.
I am however enjoying OLTL. I'm eating all this Sweep's stuff up, I swear.
