Justin Bruening back in the saddle again

I'm back again.  So one of the biggest entertainment conventions is going on right now in San Diego.  It is called Comic-Con.  Why does this matter?  Well there are lots of reasons but for the moment  I'll stick to this one.

Justin Bruening.

The Knight Rider panel was a success, and they showed a preview clip from the upcoming season.  Take a look, they cleaned him up a little he is even in there wearing a tux.

I am keeping an eye out and if i see anymore daytime crossovers at Comic-Con I'll be sure to let you know.

I can't believe that this no

I can't believe that this no talent actor got a prime time show.

Oh HECK yes! Loved the

Oh HECK yes! Loved the preview. This could lead to big things for Justin! I just hope that doesn't include him one day eating a hamburger, drunk out of his mind on the floor, while being videotaped. Hey, if Saturday Night Live can have a curse, so can Knight Rider!

Good god, the recent

Good god, the recent tv-movie/pilot for Knight Rider was such a steaming pile of partially digested candy corn crap that it made Passions look like Shakespeare. It was a nonsensical, badly acted, wretchedly written two-hour commercial for Ford vehicles that somehow managed to forget what it was about or the plot yet managed to name check the "Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang Special Edition" into nearly every single scene. It was so horrible that it made me want to trade in my Mustang for a goddamned Yaris!

As much as I like Justin, Knight Rider will never darken my tv ever again. Or, if it does, I'ma take an ax to my entire home entertainment system!

I just woke up.....

See I think the show had problems but it was basically a Las Vegas/Baywatch type action show and it served the purpose it set out to though there were to many plugs. Also, some of the supporting charactes/actors needed to be replaced but I think that Justin did as good as was needed for needed for such a show.

My biggest problem is with the voice actor who does Kitt....NOW THAT SUCKED.

I loved the Knight Rider

I loved the Knight Rider movie and I actually think that Justin's acting improved.

There's always room for a cheesy popcorn adventure shows on broadcast television, especially since all ones that were on first-run syndication died a slow death - remember all those shows that used to pop up on weekends? I think we need a little bit of that back on TV.

Luke, wasn't KITT Val Kilmer in the movie, replacing Will Arnett due to a conflict of interest? I do think you're right, he was such a snooze. But from I hear, we're stuck with him.

DSRBROADWAY!!!! I thought I was the only one who liked/loved the first run syndication shows. I loved shows like Mutant X, Beastmaster, Earth Final Conflict, VIP, Andromeda, and Relic Hunter.

I know, many consider it to be trash tv but I loved them. They didn't take themselves seriously and they were funny.

San Diego Comic-Con is huge

San Diego Comic-Con is huge so this is no surprise for me. If it's animated, sci-fi, and of course comic-related in any way, it's there. I'll take a look at some cast lists - I'm sure there are some daytimers that are included in some casts there....

Luke, Justin wasn't the problem with the recent Knight Rider movie. I, like you, think he more than capably handed what was asked him to do.

It was the rest of that turdtastic mess that was just awful.

Oh, this looks bad! Why does

Oh, this looks bad! Why does the show look like that? Val Kilmer's voice doesn't do it for me. Will Arnet would have been hilarious. He would have definitely upstaged Justin. The transformers scene looked cool.

If NBC wants to be #1 this isn't the way to do it.
