The Bold and the Beautiful is really running with The Price Is Right cross-promotion. Here's Drew Carey, offering the third-time bride and groom some advice. I just wish he'd told Bridget how much hotter Nick was with her mother. Right now, apart from Jackie and Owen, all the couples on this show are lame.

Nick’s proposal to Bridget was preceded by this less-than-romantic declaration: “I have been a beast. I don’t know if I could sink any lower than I already have.” Well, he said it. She accepted gratefully, thrilled to re-marry a man who was obsessed with her mother. Romance isn’t dead.

The week opened with Brooke refusing to side with Ridge. She wouldn’t forbid the gruesome twosome (Steffy and Rick) from seeing each other. Ridge was as reasonable as ever when he yelled, “you should be supporting ME!” Poor Ridgiculous “won’t tolerate” it anymore. The pompous buffoon walked out and made a beeline for Phoebe’s grave. Taylor was hanging out there, most likely thinking about the crummy epitaph on Phoebe’s gravestone: “Our star will shine.” Did they not see her duet with Constantine? How will Daphne develop over the course of her episodes?

Jones: She definitely has an agenda. I've had to sign confidentiality agreements, but there's a lot more to her than you think. There are so many things I want to say. The twists and turns are fascinating, and they were hard to follow and keep up with, because they're so drastic and riveting. I learned about the character slowly, because I'm not sure I would have been able to grasp all of it at one time. She's very complex.

Well it looks like the Chancellor is out of the bag on The Young and the Restless! In the Comings and Goings section of her New York Daily News column this week, Carolyn Hinsey lists Thom Bierdz as "Phillip Chancellor 3rd". As you'll recall, it was previously reported that Hinsey ran into Auntie Maria at some swanky, New York shindig and found out about a "big return". Do you think Auntie Ri Ri blabbed, since by now we all know the big return wasn't Michael Damian showing up to sing "Rock On" in the lobby of Fenmores? 

I guess Hinsey's scoop means a certain Aussie is as phony as those faux furs Lynn Marie Latham wanted poor Nikki Newman to disgrace herself by wearing in public, on the streets of Genoa City proper. Didn't anyone tell LML once a stripper graduates to the real stuff, she can't go back? Taylor (Hunter Tylo) blurted out that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Ronn Moss) weren’t married – that was the “cliff-hanger” kicking off last week’s The Bold and the Beautiful. And guess what? She failed to reveal that the marriage was invalid. There’s a shocker, huh? Instead, Stephanie interrupted things and Ridge and Brooke remained clueless. Stephanie and Taylor then hung out and cackled like witches over their machinations to destroy Brooke and Ridge’s marriage. Their plan? To wait until the cracks begin to show and then make the announcement. Cunning. Ridge is such a self-important fool he’ll probably go for whichever woman is stroking his ego the most at the time.
