Don't Mess With the Maximonster
Submitted by Luke Kerr on January 5, 2009 - 3:24pm.
So I'm watching today's General Hospital and I have to say I'm really loving the territorial Maximonster that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is turning into now that she has a rival for Spinelli's (Bradford Anderson) attention. Let's hope that GH continues to let this amazing couple grow naturally.
Are you enjoying Maximonster's territorial ways?
Jingle Jackal: Quartermaine Christmas
Submitted by Luke Kerr on December 23, 2008 - 7:07pm.

General Hospital's Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) helped Santa with some of his deliveries on today's Christmas episode. Each of the stories was thoroughly enjoyable but I liked the Quartermaine scenes best. Seeing Alan (Stuart Damon) and Monica (Leslie Charleson) reunite, along with the always wonderful John Ingle and Jane Elliot as Edward and Tracy, was great. If only the Quartermaines were given actual storylines. Continue Reading...
General Hospital Spoilers!

Here's the Scoop! 12.19.08
Scrubs Wedding... Anna is the Maid of Honor. Good, soapy, romantic wedding. Emma is not there to see her parents get married.
Spinelli is Santa's helper when Kris Kringle loses his list. Monica is reunited with Alan and Robin is a mother who can calm her own child.
Christmas Eve Repeat... It's last year's Christmas episode.
Push and Pull, Push and Pull... Can the CarJax fans take much more? The pair will be caught under the mistletoe and Jax will be there for Carly on Michael's birthday.
Is Winifred going to be a love interest for Spinelli? The computer geeks SHOULD be at odds as it MAY be Wini who swiped Spin's files but SHOULD they hit it off, I wouldn't be surprised to see Winifred sticking around Port Charles.
Natalia... We mentioned her new character, Rebecca, possibly being a model for Crimson. The LATEST RUMOR out there is that Natty's first scenes back are with her former co-star Tyler Christopher and Kirsten Storms. Continue Reading...

Here's the Scoop! 12.05.08
It looks like it's a light SCOOP day.... Q & A Day! Fire in with the questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
I dropped this in the comments yesterday: SO,,,, conflicting reports. In an Interview, Tristan Rogers said he was only on for 4 days and that he's back in town for Robin's wedding. Something along the lines that old relationships would have to wait for his next trip into PC. NOW, some are saying once again that Luke and Robert do share the screen. Here's the thing, I am the first person to warn that the mags don't always get it right either and that there is this little thing called spin that publicists get paid for. HOWEVER, Tristan is usually a pretty stand up guy so I don't seeing him giving false info in an interview. IF this is his attempt at dodging the question because he can't talk about it, it wasn't that great. No Offense Tristan, I still think you're the greatest. Also in that interview, Rogers said the show had not approached him to return after this limited run. Continue Reading...
Rating The Young Uns: Why Soaps Could Use More Actors Like Blake Berris And Less Hair Models
Submitted by Jamey Giddens on November 26, 2008 - 2:13pm.
Okay you knew it was coming. Now that the Idiots In Charge of The-Soap-Opera-Formerly-Known-as-Days-of-Our-Lives have let the phenomenal Blake Berris go, I decided to start out doing a Wishful Casting about where Berris should end up, but it turned into more of an analysis of which soaps are managing to set things up for their next generation the right way, and which ones are getting it wrong, dead wrong.
Much of the daytime industry is experiencing a serious drought in terms of talented, young stars who can actually, you know, act. Save for The Young and the Restless, One Life to Live and General Hospital, the under 30 set at most soaps is pretty much comprised of rejects from the Pamela Anderson School of Acting and Pantomime. I'll start with the soaps in most need of help and work my way up. Continue Reading...

Twists & Turns
Submitted by J Bernard Jones on November 19, 2008 - 5:19pm.
While The Young and the Restless and One Life to Live are the two must see soaps on daytime right now, our schizophrenic As the World Turns is firing on most of the right cylinders and can't be counted out of the fight. The last time I posted about ATWT, I had a great many concerns about the direction of the show and it's storylines given the supersonic speed by which they are told. In the last week however, the show has made me sit up and take notice with some interesting developments. Continue Reading...
Divas in Training
Submitted by Luke Kerr on November 18, 2008 - 10:36am.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) are budding rivals who have proven they'll do pretty much anything to one up the other. Imagine the day where their rivalry is that of Dorian vs. Vicki or Erica vs. Brooke. Unfortunately, such rivalries take time to evolve and Maxie and Lulu haven't been going at it long enough to even be eligible to kiss the shoes of such notable feuding divas. There have to be a lot more catfights along the way. Which leads me to...
Who would win in a knock down, drag out catfight?
SSW: Farah Fath and Kirsten Storms
