Here’s the Scoop!

I was on a GH high last week and what always gets me about this show is that I feel like I come down too hard. I haven’t been feeling that high this week and in fact I see a lot of typical repetitive nonsense BUT I’m still hanging in there. I’m not jumping off the bandwagon just yet. Obviously, James Franco has me wondering and the addition of Scott Reeves as Steven Lars Webber has me giddy with expectations. One thing that is definitely keeping me hanging on… Dante/Dominic. Whatever you call him I’m saying Tom Pelphrey who? So much so that I almost gave my roommate a smack across the head when she declared her dislike for him the other day. READ MORE

Fan favorites Bradford Anderson and Kirsten Storms aka Spixie, swung by KTLA to dish on the upcoming Daytime Emmys and a bit of General Hospital.  Sorry ladies–at the 1:50 mark, one of the co-hosts found out that Anderson's off the market for good..

General Hospital may have eased off trying to recreate the magic of Kirsten Storms and Jason Cook as Shelle on Days of Our Lives, but that doesn't mean they won't tease former Shelle fans. I've always enjoyed the Spixie dynamic. I think Bradford Anderson and Kirsten Storms have amazing chemistry and I hope that, eventually, they end up together. However, as a Days of Our Lives viewer, who watched Shelle, I have to say it is nice to see them share scenes together from time to time. Especially when it means watching Maxie throw a drink in Matt's face.    READ MORE

The Jackal & Co. followed Kate Howard to the spa today and I couldn't help but laugh at some of the scenes. Bradford Anderson has great comedic timing and seems game for almost anything. Of course the talented Kirsten Storms and Julie Marie Berman were there to make it even better as poor Spinelli had to endure some less pleasant spa treatments. READ MORE

Hey brass at General Hospital, wanna a.) give the fans what they want in terms of more storylines featuring the hospital and b.) actually tell a storyline featuring people of color on your canvas as opposed to simply having them provide psychiatric counseling, prenatal advice and sassy commentary at the nurses' station? How about bringing back the character of Tom "Tommy" Hardy Jr. in the form of Guiding Light star and recent Ugly Betty guest Lawrence Saint-Victor?

As the son of Dr. Tom Hardy (last played by DAYS superstar Matt Ashford) and Tom's African-American ex-wife Dr. Simone Ravelle (last played by Felicia Bell), Tommy Hardy is a legacy character in the true definition of the word— the grandson of GH's first supercouple Dr. Steve (the late John Beradino) and Nurse Audrey (Rachel Ames), which makes Tommy a descendant of Port Charles' first family and a cousin to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).   READ MORE

Has all the Emmy drama died down? Congrats to the GH stars who were nominated. Now onto the SCOOP!

Michael’s awake… no memory of what happened to him and a little peeved his parents weren’t there. Edward and Monica tell Sonny they’re not going to let him hurt Michael again. Who jumps to Sonny’s defense? Who’s been his biggest cheerleader lately despite not wanting her own son around him? Olivia. She tells the Q’s to back off. But Edward wants his great grandson in the family fold and Michael MAY be toying with the old man. He’s also not going to be very nice to his mother as we’ve been dishing and it LOOKS like Michael dishes to Lulu just how mad he is at him momma.

More Lulu… She’s with Michael and there’s also this Ethan mess. Tracy, for whatever reason, admits to her step-daughter that she did mess with the test but did she see the real results or just fix them to make sure Luke isn’t the father? But why dish to Lulu? To keep her from committing maybe incest? Lulu is also battling her brother over their maybe half-brother. READ MORE

Here’s the Scoop! 05.14.09

What’s a mom to do when her little man doesn’t want to live with her? What should she do when he rather move in with the father who has no paternal rights to him and a step-mother who is responsible for the boy’s one year coma? What’s a mom to do when the same son rather hang with his evil step-mother over his own mommy? What does Carly always do? She comes up with a plan and her plan is to move in with Sonny and company at Greystone. That can’t be good for her marriage.

Claudia is the Queen of botched hits. Sonny’s resulted in Michael getting shot, she couldn’t find anyone to kill her crazy daddy, got cold feet when she drugged Ric and the latest attempt on Jerry’s life was a big old mess. Remember her hired gun Fredo? The one who screwed up the car bomb? Well Claudia should know there is only one hitman in town and he finds Fredo who sings like a canary. READ MORE
