Caption This: What Needs To Be Said?

Yesterday's General Hospital "Caption This" was a scene between Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright). Today's is between Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco). There is so much water under the bridge between these two characters, take your best "Caption This" shot at what you think needs to be said.

In honor of the SOAPnet Valentines promo here is mine. Sam to Jason "I think I love you."

Caption This: What More Can Be Said?

So many things have been said by Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) to each other over the years it doesn't take much to imagine that they might be saying to one another in this Caption This. Take your best shot.

Faulty meds or drugs that have harmful effects? During the great drug caper it was all about drugs that weren't working. Remember Sam's pain medication wasn't taking away her pain. The LATEST on the hospital crisis kicking off sometime next week is that the medication given to the victims is more than just ineffective; it could do some serious harm.

How are the guests at the benefit hurt? Like I mentioned last week, what’s a General Hospital stunt without a shootout or an explosion. This time around, Guza is going with the explosion which injures many of the guests at the benefit as well as involving most of the staff at GH. Gee, who would have thought, a storyline that revolves around the hospital. Sorry, I’m still in shock. And what’s most shocking is why it took Bobby boy so long to come up with this one.

So who’s the hero this time? Jason is the obvious answer and there are RUMORS of he and Sam teaming up to stop whatever is happening but the heroes this time SHOULD be the doctors and nurses at GH, minus Robin who’s Post Partum Depression has the new mom handing out the bad meds without checking them. Is Rebecca the hero? IF the RUMORS are correct and Rebecca is a doctor / medical chemist, she COULD be the one to figure out the problem. Patrick and Matt have also been out there as heroes. Liason: Against All Odds

Okay, I am taking off my industry insider hat and proudly displaying my fanboy flag. He doesn't get to come out very often these days, since, well, there isn't much on daytime to trigger his appearance. But when it comes to General Hospital's Jason and Elizabeth (Steve Burton and Rebecca Herbst) aka Liason, I forget for five minutes about all the behind-the-scenes drama in daytime and am actually allowed to adore a soap opera supercouple in a way I haven't been able to since Jack made love to Jennifer or Sonny left Brenda in the rain. Can you believe it's almost Christmas? I can not wait for old Kris Kringle, but really, I can not wait for some much needed time off. Remember, GH Spoilers will be taking a small break for the holidays. Until then though, here we go.

Elizabeth and Lucky are coming.
LL2 is being revisited. Sorry Liason and LuSam fans but it's happening. RUMOR has it that Sam and Jason will see Lucky and Liz in a liplock. What does this mean for the JaSam reunion we've been telling you about? Check out the latest Promo.

Now, we SHOULD see some LuSam in the immediate future
and we MAY still get that Matt and Elizabeth test. I'm not a fan of Matt and Liz and it really has very little to do with my Liason Love. Matt should be with the young adult set on the show. Continue Reading...

What Should Jason Give Sam For Christmas on General Hospital?

Body:

Christmas is such a romantic time of the year, especially for soap couples. Since our Regan has spoiled that Jason (Steve Burton) will be providing Sam (Kelly Monaco) with a Christmas gift on General Hospital, I thought I would ask you guys what the cuddly Hitman should give the girl who is finally about to get everything she's ever wanted? Thanks Santa Frons.

Not that material things have ever meant much to this star-crossed pairing, tequila and dominoes were all they ever needed to get in the mood. Hey, some couples have special boats like The Fancy Face or phrases like "Always" to symbolize their love, others have cheap booze and a game frequented by recently released convicts. Who am I to judge? All that being said, what would you have Jason give Sam this Yuletide Season?

Burton and Herbst Speak Out on Liason's End

Steve Burton and Rebecca Herbst (Jason Morgan & Elizabeth Webber) spoke with Soap Opera Digest on the end of their popular pairing, Liason. Both actors are sad to see their coupling end.

We had quite the following for a couple who never were together, allows Steve Burton. "I don't write the show. If it was up to me, I would have played it out to see where it went. I would have given it a shot, but that's how the freaking ball bounces. There's nothing I can do about it. We did the best we could with what we were given. We definitely tried to find and play all the moments. I'm bummed out."

According to Herbst, the ending of Jason and Elizabeth came as a surprise to her.

I didn't know that this was happening, " she declares, "I knew of course, there was going to be, once again, some rocky roads for Jason and Liz considering what has happened, but I didn't know they were splitting us up."

Burton and Herbst gave props to their fans who were loyal despite the lack of movement in their couple's story.

Here's the Scoop! 12.08.08

Maxie saves Lulu's job? I like it when the ladies team up for the greater good but Maxie and Lulu could be one of those great soap rivalries Luke is always talking about. It APPEARS though, that after Carly wins round one at the Crimson Party, Maxie goes to bat for Lulu.... what are they? Friends or Frienemies?

Why is Olivia the stabbing victim? She's lurking while Sasha's on a call. Olivia lurks alot these days. Remember, Patrick gets into the mob activity by taking Olivia to Sonny's and patching her up.

More retaliation? Sonny now needs to avenge Olivia. But it's ok, Jake will be saved before that so it's all good. Go ahead Sonny, make your move against the Russians, you don't need to worry about your best friend's son.

Sam puts herself in more danger. But hey, it's ok, it's all in the name of Frons' reunion plan. Jason forgives all Sam's past transgressions after saving Jake. Adventure gal Sam needs another adrenaline boost and goes looking for more dirt on the Russians. When she learns they're still trying to take out Jason, she hides in a van the Russians are driving. Alexis and Sam will share some scenes coming up.

Alexis vs. Sasha? Lawyer to lawyer, Alexis tells Sasha she knows what's up and Sasha will go down. Continue Reading...

Take Heart Liason Fans, Eventually All Roads Lead Back to Liz!!!

I know my fellow Liason lovers are probably dressed in sack cloth today, watching You Tube clips of our spectacular, amazing, soaptastic supercouple who are being viciously torn asunder due to ABC Daytime focus group foolishness, but until Brian Frons sees something that gets him excited againt at One Rapemance to Live or All Ryan Lavery's Thongs (Maybe Fronsie-Pie plans to bring Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall over as Beth Ehler's parents and order them to arrive during a CGI-Tsunami?) and our couple is given a fair shot, I figured I would post this to give us hope. Steve Burton: "Real Love Doesn't Just Evaporate and Disappear."

In this week's Soap Opera Digest cover story concerning the break up of the closest thing General Hospital has had to a supercouple in years, Liason, Jason Morgan himself Steve Burton talks about his character ending things with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and how long until JaSam fans can rejoice, while Liason fans ready our barf bags due to the Brian Frons-mandated reunion of Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco).  Here's what Burton had to say:

You knew it would come to this, but this is a guy who just lost the closest thing to his family, so right now, rekindling anything or starting something new with anyone is a ridiculous question because there's got to ge a mourning period. What kind of moron would he look like if he asked out Sam a week later [laughs]? Just like real life, real love doesn't just evaoprate and disappear."

In other word, our boy is still fighting the good fight for Liason!
