Even if Daytime Confidential's Mike thinks The Bold and the Beautiful is the worst soap, you still gotta love just how far they will push things. What other show would use such blatant ploys as Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) thinking it was Ridge (Ronn Moss) coming into the room, asking him to snap her up and afterwards is shocked to discover that it was Stephanie (Susan Flannery) who snapped her up? It brings back memories of Donna (Jennifer Gareis) feeling up Stephanie in bed because she thinks it's Eric (John McCook). What is it with these Logan women and Stephanie? Take your best Caption This shot.
Wishful Casting: AMC and Y&R's Keith Hamilton Cobb as Donna's Bold, Beautiful, Black Baby Daddy
Submitted by Jamey Giddens on December 26, 2008 - 8:48pm.

With Owen (Brandon Beemer) mercifully being plucked from Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Eric "Honey Bear" Forrester (John McCook)'s orbit, to possibly be paired with Bridget (Ashley Jones) on The Bold and the Beautiful, Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and her desperately-in-need of lives offspring Thorne (Winsor Harmon) and Felicia (Lesli Kay) are going to have to come up with another stud to try to drive a wedge between Eric and his blow-up doll come to life. Enter Donna's black baby daddy. Continue Reading...
Last Week's B&B: Bimbo Bags Honey Bear
Submitted by Darren Lomas on December 21, 2008 - 5:37pm.
At the beginning of the week, Rick (Kyle Lowder) vowed to change and make his family proud. This doesn't bode well - if he’s going to follow the moral code of his family, he’s either going to start coming to work dressed like a hooker or start straddling Nick Marone.
Phoebe’s death continued to stir up animosity between Stephanie and Brooke, and again both Katherine Kelly Lang and Susan Flannery rocked their scenes. Taylor blamed herself and, in my opinion, Hunter Tylo was great in what must be an incredibly hard storyline for her to play out. Continue Reading...
Last Week's B&B: At Least Donna and Katie Weren't On
Submitted by Darren Lomas on December 14, 2008 - 6:00pm.
At the rehearsal dinner for his wedding to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), things took a turn for the worse when Ridge (Ronn Moss) rushed in and broke the news of Phoebe’s death. Just an aside, but why would they even need a rehearsal – those two have been married half-a-dozen times before. What exactly needed rehearsing?
Thankfully, Ridge saying “Phoebe’s dead” was muted, and we were treated to an orchestral soundtrack as we saw the looks of shock and sadness on everyone’s faces. Or, in Marcus’s case, a look that said did I remember to put my pants on?
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge visited the mortuary to say their last goodbyes to Curly Sue. For once, I was hoping Phoebe would liven up proceedings and burst into song. As things transpired, it was grief, grief and more grief, culminating in Steffy standing on a balcony wailing. Fun stuff. I can appreciate a good soap death as much as anyone else, but this was all rather silly. Continue Reading...
Last Week's B&B: Death Becomes Her
Submitted by Darren Lomas on December 8, 2008 - 5:05pm.
Phoebe (MacKenzie Mauzy) was back in town on The Bold and the Beautiful, and the virginal princess had an axe to grind. It seems that daddy’s little girl had the early onset of dementia too, like Beth. She’d completely forgotten that she was the one who broke up with Rick (Kyle Lowder) and even gave him and Taylor (Hunter Tylo) her blessing. Last we heard, she’d gone on a world tour with that greasy-haired Muppet Constantine, so all her vitriol came a bit out of left field. Continue Reading...
Last Week's B&B: Tramp Gets Dumped, Bratty Sons Scheme

Eric (John McCook) continued to string along Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Stephanie (Susan Flannery) while he made up his mind over which one was worthy of him. What a silly old goat. Stephanie should crush him and Donna both, not put up with this nonsense. At the very least, she should drag that skank out by her hair (she’s done it before). It’s not the first time two women have been pitted against each other to “try out” as wifey on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ridge (Ronn Moss) did the same thing, but even more sleazily, when Taylor (Hunter Tylo) last came back from the dead. Continue Reading...
B&B DVD Released in Australia!
Submitted by Brooke on November 23, 2008 - 3:00am.
I was browsing through some junk mail the other day and guess what caught my eye? The Bold and the Beautiful: Fan Favourites Collection has just been released on DVD in Australia! In a 5-disc set, you'll get to view classic episodes such as B&B's original episode, Taylor (Hunter Tylo) as the Arabian princess and a drunk Sally Spectra (as played by the recently passed Darlene Conley) cutting off Stephanie's hair (Susan Flannery). Who said you couldn't market soaps on DVD?
If you're interested in getting yourself a copy, you'll need a multi-region DVD player (the DVD is Region 4) and the EzyDVD website. Happy Christmas shopping!
Rick's Rewards Plan
Submitted by Jillian Bowe on November 16, 2008 - 9:38pm.

For years every single Forrester kid had to compete with the shining glory of their big brother Ridge. No matter what the rest of Eric's children did, they could never hold a candle to their elder brother.
When it was discovered that Ridge was the biological son of Massimo Marone, Eric continued to fawn over him as if he were The Second Coming, as did Stephanie, Brooke and Taylor. Sure, Eric and Stephanie have always tried to deny their favoritism, but Ridge has never denied his status as The Chosen One. Hell, he's even bragged about it and reveled in his standing as the favorite Forrester spawn. The Dressmaker has always seemed to get a kick out of knowing that he can never do any wrong in the eyes of his parents and the women who obsess over him.
Over the years, it's been Thorne who has had the hardest time dealing with living in Ridge's shadow, but this time it's Rick who has finally had enough of the scraps his parents have thrown his way, while Ridge gets a feast fit for a couture king. Unlike Thorne, who failed in futile efforts, like whining to Eric and Stephanie or going to work for the competition, over his Ridge-based frustrations, Rick has decided go after the one thing Ridge loves more than himself, Forrester Creations. More after the jump! Continue Reading...
Who should win Honey Bear's heart?
Submitted by Darren Lomas on November 7, 2008 - 4:54pm.
Horny old goat Eric Forrester (John McCook) just can't decide who to be with. Not content with having his young wife Donna (Jennifer Gareis) fawning over him, now he has Stephanie (the excellent Susan Flannery) vying for his attention as well. Both women have moved into the Forrester mansion with the hope of winning him over.
Now, as fun and campy as it may be to see barely-clothed Donna sidling up to "Eric" in bed (only to discover it's Stephanie!), is it really what viewers want to see Stephanie reduced to? This is a one-woman tsunami we're talking about, The Bold and the Beautiful's original ball-breaker, not some wimp who has to put up with competition from a two-dollar hooker like Donna Logan.
Who would you like to see end up with Eric?
Stephanie Forrester: Gangsta Grandma
Submitted by Darren Lomas on October 27, 2008 - 6:42am.Here’s Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), B&B’s original badass, doing what she does best: kick ass. Whatever her beef, Stephanie never fails to make an impact when she’s on the warpath.
