He also reveals that currently negotiations are not in progress. READ MORE
General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
By Perkie on March 05, 2010
Diane and Alexis are wonderfully fun together and while I'm not happy that Alexis has decided to help defend Sonny, despite all the years of being against him, I love that she and Diane are thick as thieves. I loved all the banter with Diane telling her she can't eat in the office or have pictures on the desk, followed by Alexis taking out pictures of her and the girls and eating a sandwich. I wondered why they needed to share the desk considering that office was ginormous and would likely fit a second desk for the time being. READ MORE
General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
By Perkie on January 25, 2010
Ok, so I was wrong. Last week, I said one of the episodes was the one that Jonathan Jackson should submit for his Emmy. Clearly, today's episode should be the one he submits and wins.
Talk about raw passion and emotion. It was all there. Anger, sadness, heartbreak and disappointment. I also think Rebecca Herbst did a bang up job. The fear, the desperation and the lies to try to save her hide.
By contrast, Tyler Christopher spent the episode looking like he was mentally reading the ingredients on a bottle of ketchup, except for a brief moment when he had a line of water coming down his face. It was as if suddenly the make up department realized that he needed to look invested and pulled out the bottle of Visine. READ MORE
Jonathan Jackson Burns Down Port Charles
By J Bernard Jones on January 25, 2010
"You're maudlin and full of self-pity. You're magnificent." — Addison DeWitt, All About Eve, 1950
Jonathan Jackson is an arsonist.
How else can one describe the blazing inferno the actor set off on today's episode of General Hospital where Lucky (Jackson) directly confronted his lifelong love Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and his brother Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) about sleeping with each other behind his back?
Jackson elevated his performance to epic proportions that might as well have been from the stage of a Greek tragedy, Tennessee Williams or August Wilson play in this episode. It wasn't just good; it was electrifying. After Monday's performance, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences should just put an Emmy for Jackson on layaway and call it a wrap.
From the moment Lucky caught Liz and Nik doing the funky chicken in flagrante delicto, GH's writers and Jackson ratcheted up the tension with a high wire act of jangling nerves, a virtual cat on a hot tin roof. Alone, Lucky was a hot mess, trashing the house he had shared with Elizabeth (formerly the home of his parents, Luke and Laura), oddly confiding both police secrets about the investigation into Claudia's death and his own emotional turmoil to Jason (Steve Burton), and generally was a emotional wreck, careening all over the place like a pinball. General Hospital Spoilers!
By Regan Cellura on November 13, 2009
Here’s the Scoop!
I was on a GH high last week and what always gets me about this show is that I feel like I come down too hard. I haven’t been feeling that high this week and in fact I see a lot of typical repetitive nonsense BUT I’m still hanging in there. I’m not jumping off the bandwagon just yet. Obviously, James Franco has me wondering and the addition of Scott Reeves as Steven Lars Webber has me giddy with expectations. One thing that is definitely keeping me hanging on… Dante/Dominic. Whatever you call him I’m saying Tom Pelphrey who? So much so that I almost gave my roommate a smack across the head when she declared her dislike for him the other day. READ MORE
General Hospital Spoilers!

Here’s the Scoop!
I’m finally getting back into my normal routine and it feels pretty darn good to say that I’ve watched GH all week! I know it’s not like I split the atom or anything but with GH being pretty good and me back into the swing of things (mostly) it’s HUGE in my world.
Can you believe it… I’m enjoying General Hospital. Prior to my “leave of absence” I had been pretty down on the Port Chuckles crew but lately it’s been great. Yesterday’s episode must have broken the bank with the everyone who got a little face time. What has me back on the GH bandwagon? Dante! I’m a little scared that they’re using him a tad bit too much but the scenes with Lulu have been awesome and Zamprogna himself is quite impressive. GH has one thing down pat, fantastic casting.
Has any character’s demise had as much anticipation as Claudia’s? We all love Sarah Brown and she has really been knocking it out of the park in her final episodes. While I’m sad to see Brown exit, Claudia has never been a favorite of mine and I blame that all on her horrible introduction. Yep, for the last almost two years, I’ve hated the character all due to her introduction. READ MORE
General Hospital Flashback: Jonathan Jackson as Lucky Spencer
By Luke Kerr on October 26, 2009
Jonathan Jackson returns as Lucky Spencer tomorrow, so in honor of his return I dug up some classic clips from YouTube. I started watching General Hospital in 1998, so many of these scenes and storylines are what helped to hook me on the show. After the jump, you'll find clips of Lucky finding out from Nicholas that Luke raped his mother, Lucky confronting Laura about the rape, Lucky visiting Tammy the hooker, Lucky and Elizabeth dealing with her rape, Lucky and Elizabeth promos and even one or two fan-made music montages. It is a trip down memory lane for GH fans who watched back then and hopefully will be helpful to newer viewers who have never watched Jonathan Jackson. Enjoy! READ MORE
