After getting over the shock of The Young and the Restless making the boneheaded decision to recast Malcolm Winters, one of daytime's most popular hunks ever, with Family Matters alum Darius McCrary, an actor about as physically dissimilar to Shemar Moore—the Emmy-winning, wildly popular stud who originated the role— as humanly possible, I couldn't help but recall other ridiculous recasts soaps have attempted over the years.
