As reported earlier, Chloe has a secret besides not being pregnant with the Chancellor heir. According to Soap Opera Digest, the quirky fashion diva gets a long overdue reunion with her mother Esther.

The shocking revelation upends the Chancellor mansion as Esther comes to terms with her daughter's betrayal, Jill sets out to rid Chloe from Cane's life and Lily ponders the possibility that Chloe duped Cane with her baby and marriage.

From Days of Our Lives to turns on hit primetime shows and A-list movie roles, Vivica A. Fox has seen and done it all during her 20-odd years in the business. I recently caught up with the fabulous Ms. Fox via cell phone, while she was in Toronto for a 44th birthday party thrown by some of her best friends, including our pal Nelson Branco (TV Guide Canada). Fox talked about her role as Maya on the groundbreaking-yet-short-lived NBC soap Generations and provided inside dish on her new VH1 reality show Glam God with Vivica A. Fox.

Daytime Confidential: First of all, I just wanted to say how great you looked in the pics from your birthday!

Vivica A. Fox: Thank you so much! I had a fabulous night. My friends really know how to treat a sister well! Muzik [the nightclub where Fox's party was held] really knows how to turn out a great event. It was glamorous, elegant; I will recommend Muzik to anyone wanting to have a classy affair. DC: So let's talk about your new show for VH1, Glam God with Vivica A. Fox. What is the concept behind the show?

School is back in session for The Young and the Restless, this fall so get ready to be brought back to  basics!

Winters/Hamiltons: With the aftermath of Ana’s parentage still fresh, Tyra and Anna's connection with Devon becomes closer than before. The gang makes a sacrifice for Devon’s newly discovered sibling. It’s all about family for these two clans.

Lily/Cane/Chloe: Disasters and revelations will be on the way for this triangle. Some mysteries and lies are finally cleared up ,but its not all what we think it is.

Amber/Daniel/Colleen: Mr. Romalotti, Jr materializes as an artist and he will be in a tug of war of sorts. His heart is with Amber but, Daniel will start to gain feelings for Colleen.

Abbotts/Newmans 2.0: Chaos continues for the partners of Restless Style. Seems that Jack still wants to go tabloid in order to sell more magazines and keep it relative while, Nick and Phyllis aren’t too keen on the idea. With all the behind-the-scenes, executive suite shenanigans at Days of Our Lives, this bit of casting information managed to sneak under our radar. Veteran soap star Roscoe Born (Trent) has been let go, according to Soap Opera Network. 

I am bummed to see Born, one of  daytime's best actors (hey, he actually made Santa Barbara fans consider Eden being with someone other than Cruz as corporate raider Robert Barr!), out of work again. Hopefully he will be snatched up by One Life to Live to reprise the role of villainous Mitch Laurence. If that doesn't work out, there's always The Young and the Restless. All of Gloria's other hubby's had dopplegangers, why not Terrible Tom? (just kidding)

For years, whenever Stefano DiMera would refer to Marlena as his "Queen of the Night" I'd snicker because I thought someone at Days of Our Lives or the peacock network were closet Whitney Houston fans. Every time Stefano uttered the phrase I would wait for Whitney to jump out and start singing her smash hit - along with Deidre Hall as a backup dancer.

Even though it's late in the game, I want to give a shout out to Days for the return of Stefano DiMera. The iconic supervillian proves time and time again he knows how to make a grand entrance and that revenge is best served cold...

So far three of the show's original cast, Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, have all agreed to attend the event.

The show is best known for starting the cliffhanger trends in soap with the "Who shot J.R.?" storyline that continued throughout the 1979-1980 season which happened to net a whopping 90 million viewers turning in for the answer.

Dallas revolved around the trials and tribulations of the Ewing family, a wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching businesses.

The reunion at the ranch in suburban Parker, north of Dallas, is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Aug. 22 and will cost between $100 and $1,000. The event will include fireworks, a country music concert, a question-and-answer session with the cast and tours of the mansion.
