Who knew having Anderson Cooper fill in for Regis Philbin on Live With Regis and Kelly with Kelly Ripa would or could turn into a full blown media slugfest?

Cooper, who regularily fills in for Philbin was visiting with Ripa about Ali Lohan's apiring "career" and made some comments about Ali and her mother Dina Lohan that could be considered less than complimentary by the Lohan clan. Never one to pass up the opportunity to talk to a celebrity mag, mamma lion Lohan fired back through Ok Magazine telling them that "People are just cruel! This is bad karma for him." We might as well start calling Ugly Betty "The Ripa Hour". On the heals of word from Entertainment Tonight that Mr. Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, will be appearing in at least three episodes of the ABC hit series comes news from E! Online that Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa will be making a cameo on the September 25th premiere of Ugly Betty.

In case you've been living under a rock, the last week Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa helped shine the world on Princess Chunky a 44 lb cat abandoned by a woman whose home was foreclosed on.

Knowing how much people love their pets I thought it might make a fun "caption this" so take your best shot at it. I'm going with "That Darn Cat" after a great Disney classic by the same name.

The Mighty O had her BFF Gayle, along with K. Rip's hubby Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) and Alexandra Wentworth on to discuss Mimi's sneak attack wedding to Nick Cannon. Now don't ask me why this motley crew was assembled to discuss Mariah Carey's nuptials, but the talk of wedding tatoos was quite comical.

 

My favorite former daytime real and reel life sweethearts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos (ex-Hayley and Mateo Santos, All My Children) have brokered a first-look deal with the TLC cable network to produce unscripted television programs under their Milojo Productions umbrella, according to The Hollywood Reporter.com. Ripa is also set to star in one of the proposed series, but don't worry, she's keeping her day job on Live With Regis and Kelly.  TLC's president and a good friend of the Ripa-Consuelos clan is former head of ABC daytime Angela Shapiro-Mathes.

Ever wondered how Live With Regis and Kelly co-host and All My Children alum Kelly Ripa always looks so posh? I mean besides the personal trainer, the live-in-chef , the $10,000 hair appointments and good genetics. If so visit Kelly's Fashion Finder, the Pantene-sponsored companion site to her hit talk show, where Kelly talks about how she mixes the latest Marc Jacobs, Dian von Furstenberg and Yves Saint Laurent pieces. Then of course if you can't afford to head over to Bloomingdales to copy Ripa's look designer-for-desinger, you can always head over to Target and buy the knock off versions!

The day Seacrest takes over is the day I stop watching LIVE!

I'd give Seacrest a chance but I wouldn't hold my breath.
