I have to say I’m a little ho hum about this week’s episodes of Days of Our Lives – thanks to the spectacular news about the firing of Executive Producer Ed Scott, once again, the behind the scenes stuff at Days is far more soapy than the onscreen antics!!  If you are planning to tune in this week though, here’s a preview of what you can expect (August 18 – 22).

Nicole’s film noir fantasy.  Oy.  I’ve seen Monday’s episode and this whole storyline is sooooo cheesy (and not in a good way).  Anyhoo, after seeing EJ and Sami’s lip lock in the hospital, an upset Nicole barges into DiMansion looking for Rolf.  She finds alcohol instead, and after helping herself, drifts into a daydream (the film noir fantasy).  In it, she and EJ are married, as are Lucas and Sami; except EJ and Sami are having an affair, and after Nicole finds this out, she tries to kill Sami in a jealous fit.  Continue Reading...

Business in Springfield is about to pick up and in a big way. Health problems, a disappearance, and a returning character cause some serious problem for the small town. Get ready for all the juicy gossip, rumors, scoops, and spoilers for the week of August 18th.

Daisy/Grady/Rafe: After her little stunt in the courtroom, Daisy feels more disconnected from her family than ever. She just can't get things right. So in an effort to calm things down with her family, Daisy tries to apologize to Cassie for her actions at Tammy's trial. However, Cassie isn't having it and rips Daisy a new one. Daisy is eventually chased away from Cassie by Cyrus. She ends up in Marina's room sulking in her loneliness. Just as sadness is overcoming her, there is a knock at the door. Daisy answers the door and is shocked to find Rafe staring her in the face. She jumps into his arms and the two share a sweet reunion. What does Rafe being back in town mean for Grady and Daisy? A lot of detailed spoilers are available for this week’s Days of Our Lives episodes, you’d think they were trying to entice you away from any Olympics watching!  This week, it’s all about Stefano and his return to Salem and evilness.  Woot!  Color me happy!  Throw in a bit of EJami love and this week is looking even better… I know it’s been reported that Days is going storyline lite while the Olympics are on, but for me, the spoilers are the most interesting I’ve read for months.  In fact, I think we should have Olympic programming more often… Anyhoo, read on for the August 11 – 15 Denial Island Preview. Bill/Lizzie/Remy: Max's death is still fresh in the minds of Bill and Remy. Pure devastation fills their hearts, but the tension between them is still there. However, the two to put their differences aside for a few hours to honor the little guy's memory. A memorial service is held for Max with many Springfield residents in attendance. After the service, the temporary peace treaty between Bill and Remy is over and they are once again at each other's throats. Who will win the battle this time?

When Bill isn't fighting with Remy, he's trying to make nice with Lizzie. In a heartfelt moment, Bill tells Lizzie he will always stand by her. What will Lizzie's reply be? Continue Reading...

Brad: He pulls off something shocking that no one saw coming... He confesses all about his hand in David’s return to gambling to Nikki! Word has it that because of this revelation, he ends up on Victor’s naughty list along with Jack and Walter; David’s former mob buddy.

Neil: Even though it looks like he’s being replaced at running Newman Enterprises by Adam think again. He is made the acting head of the company resulting in a humbling experience for the yet again re-named Victor Adam. This should be interesting to see for those of us (myself included), that are itching for Mr. Winters to finally show some sort of a back bone and for Adam er Victor II to be put in his place. This weeks issue of Soap Opera Digest is reporting that daytime newcomer, Deirdre Skiles, will take on the role of Dani Andropoulous on Friday, August 15. Dani will return to Oakdale as a forensic expert.
