Daytime's 10 Most Insane Recasts!

After getting over the shock of The Young and the Restless making the boneheaded decision to recast Malcolm Winters, one of daytime's most popular hunks ever, with Family Matters alum Darius McCrary, an actor about as physically dissimilar to Shemar Moore—the Emmy-winning, wildly popular stud who originated the role— as humanly possible, I couldn't help but recall other ridiculous recasts soaps have attempted over the years. Some worked. Some didn't, but one thing is for sure, this is nothing new for daytime! READ MORE

Is She Katie Spencer or is She Victoria Newman?

Naughty, naughty Brad Bell... Mr. Bell and the good people over at The Bold and the Beautiful pulled a fast one on viewers, but our DC readers are a bit slicker. Some of you wondered if Katie's "flashbacks" were actually Heather Tom un-glamed, and others wondered if Bell took a trip across the hall to borrow old reels by Tom. See if you can figure out if it was Katie or Victoria in the flashbacks.

Thanks to vn4ever for the answer!

Ouch, Still No Love Lost Between Y&R's Bergman and Braeden!

Don't look for The Young and the Restless leading men Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) to be doing a web soap together anytime soon. In an Entertainment Tonight interview marking Bergman's 20th anniversary on the sudser, the subject of what question fans ask Bergman most came up. Check out his cryptic response about his offscreen relationship with Braeden:

ET: What is the question that fans ask you the most often?

Peter Bergman: Fans ask me most often: Do Eric and I get along in real life? My answer is … next question.

Can't we all just get along? Let's hope Bergman's response doesn't result in the two vets getting to scrapping again on set like they did back in the 90's. With those slashed licensing fees, Sony and the Bells can't afford to be paying for any doctor's visits!
