General Hospital Spoilers!
By Regan Cellura on January 26, 2010
Here’s the Scoop!
WOW, wow, wow… Jonathan Jackson you just won the Emmy! I won’t repeat what Perkie and J. Bernard both said so well already but I could not kick off this blog without giving JJ the kudos he deserves. Amazing performance, incredible performance, I just don’t have enough words.
Hells Bells is coming back and it should spell trouble for Lucky, Elizabeth and Nikolas. Seems to me that these three make enough trouble all on their own but Helena is known for making a bad situation worse and that’s exactly what the psycho granny is SPOILED to be doing.
Valentine’s Day Episode… RUMORED to be a standalone episode and centered around some of the couples on the show. Yes JaSam fans, they are one of the couples featured. RUMORS say Mac and Alexis MAY also get a few scenes. Lulu and Dante are the new break out couple so they will be featured as well and I am hearing Scrubs and Spixie also appear. READ MORE

All My Children Actors Staging a Coup?
By Jamey Giddens on August 07, 2009
This is gonna get ugly. TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is reporting several AMC actors are threatening to quit rather than move to LA.
The Suds Report has exclusively learned that that a coup d’etat — helmed by the major veterans of the soap — is in the works. “We’re all banding together and threatening to quit to keep the show in New York,” a vet tells Suds. “You can print that.”
Uh yeah, good luck with that one! In other AMC Move-related news from The Suds Report, Chrishell Stause (Amanda), Jacob Young, Aiden Turner (Aidan) and Melissa Claire Egan (Annie) are all reportedly heading West, according to Branco.

Pine Cones in Pine Valley
By J Bernard Jones on May 11, 2009
Regular Daytime Confidential readers and aficionados may have noticed that this lovely website has added daily recaps of most of the soaps on the air, in addition to Perkie's longtime (and often hilarious) observations about General Hospital. Conspicuously absent from the recaps — at least as of this writing — has been what might be considered the quintessential forerunner of the modern soap opera, All My Children.
Not too long ago, our fearless leader, Luke, asked if I would be able to write a daily recap of the show since I've been watching it; I regrettably informed him that because of a currently unpredictable schedule (hence, why there are long lags between my posts these days) I would be unable to do so. Instead, I suggested that I would divert my recent attentions from Guiding Light to AMC a bit more closely and blog about life in Pine Valley more regularly. Since then I've mightily tried to get a grip on the show, but unfortunately watching All My Children is not unlike walking on pine cones barefoot: it's not the worst feeling in the world, but it is still pretty painful.
